That's the problem. Almost everyone is having the same set of problems. Over 60% of all retail versions of the game have this problem on both Vista and XP sets for Windows. I've been scouring their forums for the past two days, and the DEVs say almost nothing about it. The sad part is they gave us instructions on how to manually install the game by using WinRAR to unzip and extract all the game files directly to the harddrive, but two or three files come up missing from the extractio

Okay guys, I know this isn't supposed to go here, sense its for the wrong game and everything, but I am having way too many problems with this damned game not working. The game I'm talking about is Mass Effect for the PC, for any of you who have it/want it/ or were looking forward to it. I would almost say DON"T BUY IT YET! ... The initial release just has that many problems to it, and the first patches aren't even out yet. But right now, I think all my problems could be solved if I c

I really loved this mod for version .02. The sound effects and new research really helped to enhance the game play to a level that it had been lacking in the venilla version. I hope the mod gets picked back up again, and thanks Nacey for keeping everything going! I'm going to try it out again shortly to check out the .05 version of it. Hopefully everything is up to spar.

Thanks Danman and FourAces. I hope I can get a copy of the bainary formatted version of this mod, it would speed things up alot. As for the memory problems, I'm running on an AMD 64X2 4000+, 2MBs DDR2 RAM, and a 8800 GTS Nvidia graphics card. I can play Crisis on highest settings without a glitch. But I am running on Vista Home Premium 32bit edition, so that may be the cause of it. Thanks again!

On another note, has anyone wanted to have longer, drawn-out battles that would allow for more micro-management with dealing with special abilities and the like? I thought that if you could lower the attack damage/attack rate at which the weapons fire, it would produce those longer battles. Its just an idea, and I'm not exactly sure how many people would care to spend the extra time to micro-manage those types of battles, even with huge fleets.

That actually sucks, sense I think a StarCraft themed mod for SoaSE would be awesome. >.>'' Instead of getting the unit types and stuff from the original starcraft, get to actually use the battle cruisers and other vessels that are space-worthy would be great. XD lol. Oh well... Yea, Blizzard don't like anything like that. Like when WoW first came out, they shut down almost all the mod productions for WoW that were only cosmetic in detail for changing the HUD types on the screens...

I'm not sure if it was because of the Seven Deadly Sins mod, or SoaSE itself, but after about two hours of non-stop gameplay with 7D activated, the game stopped and exited giving a Runtime Error which stated that SoaSE had requisted that it shut down in an unusual mannor. Just a note, this is the long time I've spent playing with 7Sins, and I find that its a great mod, though there are still some kinks that need to be worked out. Playing as the Vasari, the economic upgrades for enhan

Hey, any way you, or someone else could combine this with Uzii's Sins Plus planet mod? I think it would really be great. I've tried to do it myself, but sense I have a very limited knowledge about how to create mods, it isn't working to well. ><' Keep me posted.

This mod isn't compatable with version 1.03. I've already tried it, as well as tried to get my own mod working for 1.03. I can't figure it out sense they changed so many of the files related to this sort of mod. ><''

Windexglow - That's where Uzii's planet types come in. It adds more variety into the mix so that it isn't all the same over and over again.

This looks really great, I can't wait to give it a try! But can you change the actual size of the stars within the systems? The average star is over 10,000 times the size of our Earth. I was just wondering if it was possible. That coupled with its expanded gravity well would make a great place to house multiple space ports or whatnot whenever some one works it into a good mod. Its just an idea though.

I was playing a game as the Vasari on a huge map and the first problem was the blue bar on the object tree on the side was stretched a little across the screen, and no matter what I did I couldn't get the little dots on the tree to disapear, even with the objects open to view everything within my planets. Any fixes for it?

I messed up when I installed this mod. I actually replaced the original texture file with that in the mod, and now I can't remove it. Even re-installing the game didn't help. Any help?

Okay guys, so I know we have several, several good mods out there already, but the differences between them are just a little obviously in the most part, and they tend to mean either it works for you, or it doesn't. Enhanced graphics, explosions, increased tech-tree reliance, minor game changes, and Uzii's added stars, bonus', and new techs are all great. But personally, at the risk of sounding like a total noob in all of

Is there any posible way of combining the new settings, planets, ect. with one of the available balancing mods? With only one mod on at a time, it seems a little... lack-luster compared to the balancing mods that give more options, though adding new planets, techs, and planetary bonus' are a very good idea. I'm just wonder, though I doubt it'd work.
