Anyone else think the graphic effect for this is to much? Anyway it cam be made to look more transparent? You can hardly see your ships when this effect is on.
Titans keeping their level also keeps sins a very Titan focused game. In that you will always use your Titan as the hammer, as opposed to having the threat of having to use your secondary fleet as its replacement.
Once you max out your Titan, your only then giving experience to the ever returning Titan, until you have two maxed out Titans battling forever.

So the game then becomes two level ten Titans battling it out? Forever? If your stupid enough to lose a Titan that's one thing...to take your brand new level one Titan IMMEDIATLY to battle against another Titan...you deserve to lose. This is a strategy game. Not a throw my Titan at anything cause another clone is in the wings......
Titans keeping their level is a dumbing down of the game, pure and simple. That goes for the Devs and those of us stuck with the decision. Havent heard any reason from the developers why for the first time in Sins, a unit gets to keep its level after being destroyed.
It just needs to be moved further back inthe tech tree.
Constructive Rant? A ship that benefits from my other ships getting blown up is just not fun to me. I think the techs on this shp are very uninspired. OT but rebels and loyalist should have gotten different capitals. IMHO
This capital ship doesn't need to be fixed. It needs to be scrapped and hit the reset button, it's ugly, techs suck, why would anyone use it? It TEC How about a capital ship that protects its trade ships? Or hunts down others and "checks" it's cargo for contraband? Increases ship production? Mobile ship factory? Has a variation of the pull up to it and blow structures to smithereens like the TEC scout ship?
Pure and simple when you lose a Titan it should start at level 1.
Worst ship and techs in game.
We've gone YEARS without the AI building any superweapons, now they have been nerfed to oblivion, cause a few don't want to deal with them.
Superweapon Limit: Limiting game options is just lazy. I don't care that it can be modded. Whats the point of forums if everyone is playing a different game?
Regarding superweapons: Hate hard game limits, just adjust the price to make them more scarce, for the wimps. [e digicons]X([/e]

The only reason I can think why the devs would want Titans to carry over their xp and levels is against the AI an experienced player will beat the AIs Titan, and just trounce it from that point on with your Titan or regular fleet. So it's really just a ai cheat. Its up to the devs to make Titans exciting, but also not the one unit everything else now revolves upon. I still say Titans should be a late game ship, that if lost a ai should have enough reso
I'm old school I like my ships to look like ships, with windows and doors. Lol Some of the whacked out ships really take away some of my enjoyment of this great game. The Kodiak is boring, put not the worst. The Advent carrier is a joke. The Eve on line mod brings a smile to my face even though I haven't played that for awhile.

I know they can't have someone monitering the forums 24/7. But if we are truly beta testers and not guys who pre paid to play the beta, why so little back and forth? People have been bringing up all kinds of ideas, bugs,quirks daily and no one is even keeping the known bug page updated. Instead of the once a day post, keep use as part of the process of what is being done, what cant be done, and what we should look for and so on. Off soap box.</p
