First off I think this tech comes to early. Rebellion gives up to many of it's higher techs to early, late game you have nothing to look forward too. Anyway, shouldnt Truce Amongst Rogues require you to have a envoy in the wells that this is effective? Why have a ship that is a Diplomatic ship, and take it out of the treaty business? Instead of just a switch in the tech tree, make it that you also need one of these ships in each well
Incorrect. I just played a full game of Entrenchment and the scouts did a glorious job. I didn't lose a single scout and they did clear the mines. It's nice to be able to send a scout to a system with 150 mines and come back in a while and it be clear. I had multiple systems with over 100 mines and it would have been horrible to clear all that. In addition, I had a solo scout clear a worm hole with over 50 seeking mine

Yes Quoting SemazRalan, reply 284Also, how does this affect memory usage in vanilla? There seems to be a lot of high-res textures in there that I know would kill 7DS. We've optimized textures and still use 1.5 to 1.7 gb of ram. No bloody idea. Rebellion is awful when it comes to memory usag

Titans keeping their level in this game is like when you respawn at the last checkpoint every time you die instead of having to restart the mission....
Just save your game before every battle, if it doesn't go the way you want ,reload. The price / to content issue could be debated.( I'm ok with it). But not knowing what your buying in 2012 with all the information you could ever want at your fingertips, is just lazy.
You keep the levels in SP, my VL titan died a few times just so I could level it up. So I'm saying bug, as there is no way I would have the time to keep levelling it back up to 7, 8, 9 and 10 without it being some epic space conflict sized map, like dozens of stars with thousands of planets epic.
This is the reason Titans shouldn't retain levels people will just suicide them to level up. Not to mention the bs

Regardless of MP, or not the % is not a real issue I give a shit about...it's the Titans keeping their levels. I actually lost a Level 10 Titan in a late night stupar, and when I was able to click my way thru to level 10 with my new Titan, it felt like I was cheating.

This issue is being ignored by the devs. Any ship that keeps it level after death gamebreaking..and for it to be the biggest unit.... Maybe 5% of Sins players play online...why balance the game around them?

How lazy is it to manually take things out of a great game instead of learning to deal with the problem? When you played monopoly did you cover Go to Jail? [e digicons]:X[/e]

Devs wanted no input on this issue....they never responded. Well I'm thinking they think there was more important things to worry about. If enough of the community didn't like it, I don't think they'd keep it in.
&nb

Stupid question:why isn't beta made to run in only dev.exe mode?

I know its too late for anything in Rebellion except balancing and patches, put any chance to give the TEC Cobalt some minor face-lifts? For starters giving it a 1 to 2 point armor gain would keep it around for more than a minute. Giving it a second tech besides antimater drain( which doesn't have have graphic effect btw) would be nice. And replace the spitting laser sound and short red lasers beams with a photon torpedo type effe

Someone else pointed out that even the stock planets have now been given one model each, maybe the golfball in space is just a memory saver. IMHO rather have diverse and interesting planets than self shadowing ships.
