So.... you want a campaign?

Wow, I like. :)
It'll probably be like if you turn off pirates how some of the research becomes useless. Other research still does its function though.
Diplomacy requires Entrenchment to play. And as far as the new ships seen there. I thought the Constructors were frigates. So wouldn't they be in the frigates category if they're buildable? Same with the Envoy Cruiser. Even if it costs a lot and has abilities, ect... wouldn't it still be in the cruiser category? I mean making it build from a Cap Ship Factory, cost a lot, have abilities, and use crew supply would technically in game purposes make it
I don't think it's snooty at all. Not like you're saying "You're all FOOLS if you don't up this in!". Saying what you'd like to see in a game as opposed to demanding. Just like saying what you want for your birthday or [insert winter gift-giving holiday]. And I think a lot of people are on the same page as you. Pounding your opponent's face into the ground is fun and all, but it'd be nice to have options.
Day 3245956 of release: Hmm - is that Sins 2 I see on the shelf? I remember that game - it was kind of like Homeworld, but much better .... *sigh* if only they'd learned to balance ____ and ____ , then it would have been a classic.
So we can expect Sins 2 to be released around 8900 years from now?
"You have been bought out! You Lose!" [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
You make it sound so anti-climactic. ;)
Yeah. And I'm sure it'd make testing things like unit balance and such much easier too.
Ah ok, sorry. There's so much spam going on here that I didn't notice. By the way: 4. Kanrak Assailant -Fixed bug with Charged Missiles which severely impacted its utility. What bug was that, actually? Other than the frigate shaking effect, I can't recall any bugs. I just thought the ability was junk .
Maybe you thought it was junk because of some kind of bug? ;)
Maybe they could offer 2nd places kinda thing. Or a vassal win. So on your MP record you have W,V,L,T. That way you haven't completely lost, you can still fight for the V win but you won't be the MVP.
MVP=Most Vassal Player? :P lol I think a good economic strategy that should be put in place is buying out empires. Every empire has a certain price on it calculated by ship/research/culture/struc
I think it sucks that the "skilled" players aren't willing to take a loss every once in a while. Okay, so you have a newbie on your team and you lose the game. Does that mean it wasn't fun at all for you to play? Get over yourselves and allow the newer players a chance to play with you. Sorry if this sounds like an angry rage post, but I'm really tired of seeing posts like this where the newbies are pretty much being turned off from the online multiplayer community bec
I've always thought a fog of war feature would be great. Seeing the last scouted state of the planet would help a bunch.

K, wear an eyepatch and don't eat oranges.
Kit, I have a situation like that. A guy I know and his girlfriend at the time were having a fight (she was craaaaaaaazy by the way) and she came at him with a knife. Big knife. Swinging it all over the place. Well he grabs her wrists to stop her from cutting him (when in fact he already had been cut MULTIPLE times and has pictures to prove it). She doesn't have a scratch on her but HE gets arrested.
I think the point is that yes, having a notice that your posting privilages have been revoked would be nice. That's a given. Is it neccessary? No. Anyone with any sense and knowledge of "acceptable behavior" would know the reason for the actions of the moderators. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to put together the action of posting angry raving posts and then subsequently getting disciplined for it. Would anyone agree that there is ever a justifiable rea

A friend of a friend of this guy at the coffee shop's daughter who knows the garbage man's nephew told me that a group of mods went to this guy's house and beat him with wet noodles. Then laughed at him and took away his posting privilages. :(

I belive a straight pride parade or just straight pride, has everything to do with organized religion, everything has always been about the heterosexuals. As of now, without equality, heterosexuals are a special interest group who will do, say and compare the struggle of homosexuals to anything tri

I used to go on the Demigod forums all the time to check things out (I'm currently putting playing Demigod on hold until I get a better internet connection). The community when I stopped following wasn't too bad. I could see however, that it was getting there.&
There are instances where selling a planet to a hostile or even just neutral party might be relevant. Say that you lose a big battle and you can't defend all your systems very effectively anymore. Selling one planet and pulling your empire in might be a good idea. Plus you get money and resources in the exchange to boost your fleet back up to size. The point of it is to make a way to aquire and exchange planets without the use of force. It's the
Aren't back-room dealings something that is inherent with the Diplomacy expansion? Isn't the idea of it to make us think about who we can trust and who we can't? Like if you suspect that there's something going on between two players, don't sell the planet to one of the players if there's a chance he'll sell it back to its previous owner. And really, once a player buys a planet or anything from you, he's free to do whatever he wants with it. If he wants to sell it ba
Are you saying like, if your culture is very pervailant over your opponent that you lower their fleet supply by some percentage? I'm just confused by what you're saying, that's all.
I think Pb heas a point. Upping the player count would only lead to someone saying "I wish they would allow 18 players per game for a 9v9! I want to get in that game."
