Advent is suppose to have weak economy, their strength is suppose to be in culture. However with culture its as if they have no starting advantage at all, its laughable compared to the economic advantages of TEC. The current state of it doesn't pose much of a threat, no matter how much money you invest in the culture techs. This is probably the biggest concept to understand in a pvp game. What targets go down first and in what order. Focusing on the wrong target can lead to the enemies victory. Mainly, I pvp in Guild Wars. But I've also pvped for years in Lineage 2 and WoW. Usually when a player is inexperienced they focus on the wrong target, in mmo pvp you might see someone targetting a dagger user while the healer is in the back spam healing them. Nope no siege unit cost decrease for advent. Who knows why, the same can be said for the drone host cost increase. It really doesn't bother me, though it would be nice if explanations were given for these type of changes. Because they seem rather erratic.

I wouldn't say its perfect, but its better. I want to see culture eventually looked at, but mainly it would be nice to add a info card for culture when present on your planet/s. For instance, when you high light your planet it shows that culture has increased your resources by 10% and the bonus you get for your units. A way to reconnect to a game if you crash would be nice too, but thats probably a bit more complex to implement. For graphics it would be nice if they did something about

Ya, Illuminator is slick now. The drone host nerf is questionable, BUT I noticed astroids now have 3 extractors instead of 2. And those gas planets have 3 also. So that sort of balances things out a bit. A big plus is the black market, its much better. One thing that still bothers me is LRMs. Drones do counter them, but they are so fragile that they are easily picked off.

I finally understand guys. The balance IC is going for is not with individual units its with the factions. TEC= Awesome Vasari=OK and Advent=The suck. Now if they actually made advent "ok" or "awesome" then the game would be unbalanced. Since there can only be one awesome and ok faction. Someone needs to fill the role of being the worst and thats advent. So no advent won't get any boosts only nerfs, because if they get a boost it might actually make them ok or awesome. ROFL sounds about right. Ironclad is starting to remind me of Ncsoft(devs of Lineage 2). Where there philosophy of balance was backwards. One class being two shotted by another was considered working as intended. In Ironclad's case, a faction that makes the least MUST have units that cost the most. And since they cost the most they must be the least effective of the three factions. And they must not have any viable counters to the other two factions to ensure that they are easy to destroy. <

I thought carrier crusiers cost less in 1.04? The only thing that went down is the metal cost. For advent drones the old price was 450$ 100m 50c now its 485$ 90m 85c. How is that a cost reduction?
