well I didnt get any crashes or anything, works perfect for me! I just watched the exelsior blow up and it was awesome. the class 2 probe or whatever it is wouldn't go through the phase lane though it just headed out for places unknown. still love the work though! ds

oh boy!!! just played a few moments enough to try out your new ships and sounds and debris and and and... you rock! but! can you just double their scale size? I realize it may entail some extra work but that capital ship is puny in size, unless the rest just get bigger but for me if they were all about 2x bigger it would be the only thing I can see that needs work... other than getting rid of that ridiculously huge borg cube for a colonization ship l

If you post the mesh and image files we could look at it better and see what its like in game? I looks ok in the pics but maybe a little under detailed? no offense I cant even get a texture to export correctly myself so my hats off to you!

CanadaMan... I always export via 3.6 anything else does not work. ZJBDragon... I gave you unblemished files I becaus I did not think you wanted to see my sad excuse for texturing I can try what I think should work and post it. In fact I will do that but I will drag out my version of Galactica and rar it after I texture it. it will probably take me a little while but I will have it in an hour or two. and thanks much! ds

I actually have these ships in game and playable as TEC capital ships ans its been fun balancing them and getting the weapons to work but I've run into some hard coded limits weapons wise so they aren't as done as I want them. I have modded a missile to work as a torpedo but i need one more weapon slot to use it grrr. the only reason they aren't black in game is because I cheated and used 3 materials each a different color and applied them after I had them in mesh format, slop

you were right I did need to remove the extra material you had in there to do this correctly!!!! Im not sure why cuse I don't know what it was but it wont import through convertxsi like it was. I will now package up some of my models and let you see if I'm doing something really obvious wrong in my work! cuse sometimes I'm dumb.

1. the ability to use more than 3 weapon types per ship might be nice even one or two additional would very handy. 2. the ability to debug something properly. ( specific errors ) 3. GUIs are nice but really not necessary, I agree totally. 4. and least importantly I'm sure for most of the good modders but would be nice for noobs like me would be a demonstration of someone actually using the "xsi modtool" to create from top to bottom a ship nothing fancy
