Would be great BUT ... you could use it to cheat and give info to one Team. So it would need to be delayed or.. be optional for tourney play.

"perhaps excel can help with that" :-P They do not only win games.. they are also really fun to read. Must be some nice guys! So nobody won against them so far? Come on people! Maybe reading "Sun-tzu or Sunzi Art of War" may help :-)
Different Formations + Bonus while keept based on % of ships still in formation (bonus vanishes when ships getting destroyed) Some kind of Tournament Play / Ladder support maybe? Well.. Moons are just round asteroids... probably so you have to explore them before you know what you can harvest there? Campaign would be ok... but only if done very well... And does something special ... for example by partly revealing the tech tree... step by step. Better AI / Mor
Or copy one of the other voices over the files for the phase voice files!
There is something you can play similiar to a campaign in sins: Try to get all "Achivements" done (in order)! At least I have something to do in Single Player this way :)
Well.. I think you both missunderstood me! One could pretend that sins is an EVE-Online RTS game so to say. Having Amar, Caldari, Gallente and Minmatar replacing the races in sins. Copying the "ships" would mean: Generate models which look alike to the ones in EVE for the races EVE has. Using similiar weapon types or as close as you can get. Change balance accordingly. Change names and texts. Use similiar graphics for planets... maybe even for the gui. Stuff like that! <br/
Hi there... I am not able to do it but would it not be kinda "natural" to generate an EVE Online modification? The races and many ships could be "copied". Just a thought I had ... Could be something like a fraincaice :)
I have the same problem;....
Thats just not "the same problem" and may be related to overheating your system... "Our" problem is there from the start, can be easily reproduced (on our systems at least) and may have to do with a graphical element which is shown on some occations (esp. in menu, popup... maybe related to fonts or some button image rendering?)
I has nothing to do with texture (pre-)loading for me... I just checked and get a ~20 fps hit also in full screen mode. Just not that the rate drops to near zero. I have everything on highest setting. But it does not make a difference to run with the defaults in windows mode it still gets slowed so much that you can not efficently use the menu.
As a precaution, one should always uninstall the specific game demo before installing the full version. Trust me, Ive had bad experiences with leaving a game demo installed while having the full version of that game on my computer.
Well.. didn't you say it in advance? :-P To the OP: If you are familiar with RegEdit you can do the following: 1. Rename the key with name "path" below "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net\sins" to someth
Similiar thing happens for me too! !!! But only when I run the game in window mode !!! Opening Menu slows down from 80 fps to 1-4 fps. Selecting units sometimes drop fps too. System: ATI X1950 Pro / Latest Drivers (8-3_xp32_dd_59746) / Dual Core Pentium / 3GB
It could be the text bug - when text appears on the screen the frame rate takes a hit. This has been fixed internally and will be in the next update.

I have a (heavy) FPS drop when I play in window mode (ATI X1950 Pro) and open a Menu or some Pop-Up is displayed. Hope that is related to this and fixed soon. There is no such problem playing fullscreen! - Westal
