lol, yeah, good point SoulFire :)

LOL @ Magno! I totally remember that video, and I love the reference man!
Yep, it's changed for sure, and more of the background is gone now. I gotta believe this means SOMETHING!! EDIT: Check out the bug page. 2 more were reported fix. I think that's all of them from my count, unless there's one we missed somewhere!!!!
I see they fixed two more bugs last night, jim. So maybe that leaves them with 2 left, if my count is correct? Yep, getting closer!! :D
Looks like they might have knocked out another bug or two on the reporting page. Keep it up, guys!! :D
Thanks for the updates jtay!!!! Man, I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO looking forward to this mod!
We hear ya Major Stress, and I'm sure I can speak for us all in that we all greatly appriciate the work you guys are all putting in! I hope you guys can nail down the issues. :D
LOL! Yeah, that's one of my favorite episodes as well :) I'm going to have to go back and rewatch all of TNG again sometime soon here. Same with DS9, for that matter. :)
Ya know, that hole that's growing in the metal logo plate up there reminds me of that metal eating substance that was on the klingon bird of prey that Cmdr. Riker spent some time on back in the ST:TNG days. Any of you guys remember that episode? It was eating away at the hull of the ship. Anywho, a little off topic, I know, but that's what it reminded me of. :P
I hear ya Weed_Warrior! I'm basically counting on this to satisfy my star trek needs until star trek online comes out next year. This mod honestly looks better than most of the star trek games that have come out in the recent past. The last star trek game I really remember enjoying was Starfleet Command 3 (which wasn't as good as Starfleet Command 2 IMHO). Legacy was OK, but was really disappointing in that they could have done SO MUCH more with it. Anywho, I hope you guys can g
do it. DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, there's no movement options for the starbases themselves while in game, so not sure how to turn off hold possition. I checked bailknights mod, and there weren't any folders with that name in it. I even checked through all of the folders and couldn't find any files with the same name as the two downloaded for this mod.
Ok, I'm not sure what the deal is, but I tried installing this mod by itself, and merging it with the other mod I use (Bailknights) and the starbases still do not move. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, I just don't know what? :(
Yep, I gave it a shot last night, and you were right! I had no problems, and strangely enough, it seemed like the game was running more smoothly than it had before! It really makes the game look amazing, thanks! Another quick question; will I be able to play the game over a network with a friend that doesn't have the mod, or will that not work? I'd like to think we could for the same reasons you listed, but ya never know :P
Just a quick question. If I install this mod, will my previous save games work with it, or no? I've been working on a huge map in single player and I'm currently using BailKnight's Effects mod, and I'd like to add this in as well if I can (Well, I'll be adding this mod in one way or another ;) ). Anyway, great work on the mod!! +1 Karma for you sir!
[quote who="athros" reply="3" id="1973475"] Quoting eqfan592, reply 24 Honestly, i'm also looking for a good MMO, though I'm very tired of fantasy ones ( I go way back to UO as well), and I did EVE for a while, but the pace is just a bit slow (though I was in one major fleet battle between two waring corps, and that was pretty cool). Right now, I'm looking to Star Trek Online as my last, great hope for MMO's But I'm also looking for something to hold me
IQofSpam, check this link out: http://www.takepart.com/2008/04/07/top-10-global-warming-myths-debunked/ It actually addresses many of the points brought up in the links you posted. EDIT: And here's an interesting one I found about Global Cooling http://greenfyre.wordpres

Are there any good space based MMO's out there besides EVE? Even low tech/graphics
Hey all! The mod looks great, but I had a quick question. How much more strain does this mod put on a system? I have an OK system, but not a powerhouse. I usually can run Sins fairly smoothly (until the game gets late and the fleet sizes are all maxed out for 4 teams on a 5 star map :P ). I'll probably try this out one way or another, but I just wanted to hear from you guys :) I'd try to go though the thread, but I'm at work, and 500 posts is a LOT of reading! :P
FLAME WAR FLAME WAR FLAME WAR!!!!!!!!! :P
Actually, I do like the idea of them being redirected to the nearest phase gate instead of just coming out of the system, and I really don't buy the idea that they wouldn't need the exiting gate cuz they'd know where to go already. Having them be redirected would reward players knocking them out while not giving the Vasari player to great of a kick to the teeth.
The Krakatoa and "egotistical" arguments are possibly the worst thought out and in general just ignorant arguments out there. It's idiotic NOT to think we can affect the global climate. Jesus, just look at nuclear weapons. We could REALLY affect it REALLY fast if we wanted to. <span style="font-size: 7.5pt; color: #000000; font-famil
I'd be curious to view these "recent studies" that show the Earth cooling, as it would fly in the face of every "recent study" I have viewed. And just because the earth DOES have the ability to adjust does not mean that we should just keep on with what we are doing. Our a
Something I was kicking around in my head today. What if there were a new class of ship in the game, one that was a sort of middle ground between cap ships and the heavy cruisers. Basically, battle cruisers. They would be built at cap ship factories, but be about half the size and strength, and they would not use up cap ship points. They would also level up like cap ships. I was also think
Thanks for the heads up EvilleJedi! Have they gone after modders in the past? I'm glad to see some folks interested in this! Like I said, I have no modding abilities at all, but I'll keep my eyes and ears open for people who might have made ship models :) Hopefully this project can become a reality at some point :D
