Well, I just lost my first online game of Entrenchment. It was a 2v2. My ally had run from the guy he was losing to, but had killed some of the guy I was fighting planet's and a bit of his fleet. I had a Lvl8 egg and a fleet without many HCs facing a guy with HCs, disciples and a few carriers. Now my ally was at this guys planet fighting, so I jump into the only other planet he has left. I avoided the homing mines and immediately started to deploy a SB as 1) It would help against the

I played Kitesurf the other day. I had some scouts running around his planet and noticed he had got a jump start on me with carriers. My cap was off colonising and I had managed to sort of box him in - he could either go through pirates to the star or come through my volcano planet. Realising I couldn't get him with carriers, even though my econ was stronger, I started spamming LF and flak and put a few carriers into the fleet. When we had the first battle, he had #1 fleet size, but I was abl

OK - that was weird. Impulse said Sins wasn't installed after I installed Entrenchment. Yet Entrenchment was opening and saying 1.01, so it MUST have been installed. After re-installing Sins, Entrenchment still says 1.01, but at least I can now change a game name. Still don't know if I can join/host yet

Perhaps the best solution is to leave the caps exactly as they are and only change the time it takes to level up the exp. This means that is early/mid game buying a level is still a large % of your econ (e.g. 2+ HCs worth of credits at lvl 1>2 and increasing the next level is almost a LRM), so you have to make the decision between building ships or upgrading the cap with the money you have... But later on, when you have more credits and it is a smaller % of your economy, the
To everyone else, unfortunately I do have a pretty demanding Finance internship (BCG) and a full schedule for the next few days so obviously there will be periods of vicious accusations by Hack, Carbon and probably other cheap shots I will not be able to fully respond to. However as soon as I get a break I will. I'm actually typing this at 3 am EST.
I have a full time job as well. I just post at lunch or when I get home. We all work. I also resent you saying my posts a
Alright, I hope everyone knows Hack and Carbon spamming posts doesn't help them in any fashion whatsoever. Also, just 1 thing I wanted to point out. There has been no opposition to starbases flak whatsoever, Hack you're slipping. Now go spam another thread about how OMFG, starbase Flak is BS and Credit's idea is once again shit. Just because you say so. Come on termites, you need to step up the shredding! You're slacking.
Now who is

Just a quick note in support of Tyr. I have played with him when he went eco whore and fed me and others. Unfortunately the ally on the opposite flank to me quit due to rushing for pervasive and Tyr then switched from eco to military. I was very impressed with how quickly he got a good size fleet up and then how he used it. He held that side while I worked with our remaining allies to push them opposition back on our side, grinding out the win. That being said, I have also played game
Hack, first of all, we can change the Capital ships flaks to attack strikecrafts only. So your point is completely invalid in first place. Hmmm, that already takes out your stupid first two 'concerns', right? Now third one: No it is not, even with 2~3 to 6~7 flak power the fighters will tear aparts LRMs before you blink. Guys, don't deceive yourselves; strikecrafts ARE FREE. I wonder how many you guys ever understand this very crucial issue

I don't think these idea are generally that good of an idea. For example, the ability to buy a Lvl 6 ability will do the following: Force everyone to go TEC to get the Marza - TEC have the best economy so can afford the credits. This will result in Marza spam People who go military early will lose long term if they can't immediately beat the person they are attaking as the econ person just needs to hold out long enough to spam the Marza. They can buy
