The one I watched the other day didn't work. PY5C (or however he spells it) rushed towards me, so I wanted to go back and watch his expansion method to see what he did. The battle we had was NOT how I remembered it....

Woot - this could be the way to distribute new Sins maps I have been asking for for the last few months... Blair has said that the Sins engine cannot do it, so I have been asking for Impulse to do it.... We just need to have some map packs uploaded and put in the Sins freeware section!!! :)
Weirdly enough, on the replay, when he made it to the ice planet, it was MY ship that won (just as I thought it would all along), not his, and it wasn't even close. In other words, my repair bays and turrets worked great, plus the fact that my ship was totally fresh and his was more than half dead. But the replay was wrong, because in real life it was my capship that lost. I'd love to see this explained by someone, LOL. Good luck.
Easy - replays do not work i
I still prefer Steam for two reasons. Programs installed to Steam will survive an OS crash and can be transferred to any other Steam install by dragging over a single folder. Currently Impulse is not capable of this, but it would be nice to see something to that effect in the future.
Sure it is - Archive the games and put them on a seperate drive. If you have a crash, you re-install them by unpacking the archive.
Also, there is no reason to build light frigates as TEC. Put up two military labs immediately and research long range frigates. Light frigates are, ironically, late game units used as support once their special abilities (saboutage reactor in the case of TEC) are research.
WRONG... This was the case in prior versions, but once carriers took on a higher profile due to the rebalance, LF became important as they counter carriers due to taking less damage from fight
As a totally unrelated, stupid side question, why do Varsari buildings phase out while I attack them? Is it a sort of techonology? is it my weapons?
They have a tech you can research that allows it to happen... Help protect it iirc - 1/3 less damage
I'm sorry, what is Vanilla?
va·nil·la (və-nĭl'ə) n. Any of various tropical American vines of the genus Vanilla in the orchid family, especially V. planifolia, cultivated for its long narrow seedpods from which a flavoring agent is obtained. The seedpod of this plant. Also called vanilla bean .
I'm like super man baby, leaps and bounds.
That's the Hulk or Doc Samson.... Superman just flies - he doesn't need to jump!!! Geez...
Very sad to say, we had this happen today (v 2.5), we almost got in a fight arguing over why my friend was letting the AI just overrun his planets, he showed me how the same said planets were alive and healthy on his side. If we can find where the mini dumps are kept (it finally did do a mini dump on us) we will send them in.
This is an Entrenchment Beta issue then, not an issue with vanilla sins as was the original post. As such the issues are different as you are play
Try opening in windowed mode
Did you completely uninstall the drivers for the old card when you took it out and put the new one in???
You tell me what is the point of continueing a game if there is no chance in survival? There isn't one period. You do nothing but waste your time as well as your teammates time in doing so. It absolutely makes no sense, so am I guilty of not playing to the very end of a game until one man is standing of course, we all are and that's what I do not understand about you and some, you guys act as if you never done this, you act so self-righteous you and your little click that have turned t
Try starting the game in windowed mode - there is an entry in the user.setting file.
1) Returning Armada can only fill up fleet cap that is free 2) It randomises the size of the fleet cap and the composition each time - so one time you may have a carrier, another you may not and another you may get 2-3
Sometimes it takes a while for splash the screen to kick in - try pressing escape a few times etc... just in case....
The orignal intent of How's blacklist was never to be used as a weapon like this. It was to highlight certain players who regularly quit prematurely, refuse to quit when the end is inevitable (while you hold a fleet and a Lvl 6 Marza, I am not sure that you can call it when its 2v1... If it was 5v1 then that would be different) or are just generally a pain in the backside. Threatening to put someone on the blacklist would probably count as a reason to put THEM on the blacklist. <
There is a help link in Impulse. But that is for Impulse. These forums are the online manual. Ways to learn are: 1) Read forums 2) Do tutes 3) Play some SP 4) Go to MP, make sure they know you are new and get someone to teach you if they will take the time - if you get on during a quiet time, you may find a more experienced person to play you 1v1. They will totally crush you, but will at least explain what you are doing wrong/how they did it so you learn (hopef
Hold down shift and it fives more - 250 instead. That 4 clicks instead of 10 for 1000....
You sir are completely infantile in your behavior as well as your liable toward me. Keep it up.
What - all I said is that someone OTHER THEN ME had created a non-stardock related presence for tracking a Sins blacklist. This means there won't be issues over forum rules here... Simple. P.S. Nice to see you have reverted to name calling...
your still number 2.
Since grammar is being discussed.. "You're still number 2." - or are you calling someone a number???
But was she any good???
If you are running 64 bit, they are under the Wow6332Node....
Oh yeah - didn't see that bottom bit - I was just pointing it out that it has been that way as long as I've been playing....
Nope, we invented the car, at least the first worthwhile, mass produced version, and always intended for everyone to drive on the right, (everyone can see that it's better that way.) The Brit's weren't driving vehicles when we had them on the road, and we didn't hang onto our anger towards them after the early 1800s (aside from a bit of concern over their naval alliance with the Japanese after WWI, which we broke up through, honest diplomacy (and a wee bit of wire tapping).
