Gees - The Monk really knows how to aggrevate people doesn't he. This is at least the SECOND brainiac who has had a go on the forums that I have seen (there may be more). All I can say is - keep up the good work Monk :D BTW - check out the Karma difference. Is there ANYONE with higher Karma then The Monk???
Hack78
I HATE YOU BLAIR!!! I have to go to work and write code etc... all day, not sit back and enjoy a booth. There better not be any booth babes there!!!
No - quite often they ARE noobs. Below are reasons they quit Cap ship get blown up early in the game Enemy shows up before they are ready The planet they were after get colonised first Don't like their starting position They lose a single planet before their allies can assist them
Crap - I wanted to ask this question...
Houston, we have a problem.
Hey - you have to remember that if you are on the ISS and get a virus - "In Space - No one can hear you scream - Arrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!"
Since this mods time period is supposed to be after the Battle of Endor
So this would mean the rebels would have Star Destroyers also???
That's evil!!! Lucky can only be done every 10 minutes!!!
A game is supposed to end when an enemy can no longer "expand" - i.e. all planets are gone AND all colony abilities (frigate or cap) are gone as well (if allied, you have to kill the ally as well IIRC).
folow up dont get me wrong I apreciate the help the Monk and such are triing to give but dont you think that replyes such as the one regarding sports car (SEE HACK78)are at least patronisingThere is someting realy wrong with this game and the developer has the duty to fix itThis is such apity because the game is in itself quite god when it workswhat is Ironclad and Kalipso doing about it?Do they realise that we as customers can realy dammage their reputatition
I wouldn't
How can you get a fleet that big on a small map??? Either your fleet is bigger and you win or the AI is bigger and they win much earlier... Or were you always better then the AI but haven't attacked fully???
Oh bah.
You snooze... :) (only fair - you ALWAYS get them :) )
I know you don't actually need to do research. I am talking about in the context of finding one - you find it and once you figure out what it does, you get the bonus. Anyone who knows anything about Sci-fi knows that a scientist has to study an artifact, maybe get someone killed or whatever before they work out what it does and how to use it. So since they show up on the research tab, ergo they were "researched" (immediately, for free) and hence show up on research screen...
I think we can all agree that TEC need a boost. The Akkan is crap comparably speaking, the econ has no advantages, and the only fleet ship that really shines is the Kodiak.
Hoshikos rock!!! I have never been able to work out how/what the targetting array does - I understand the Ceilo - more damage etc...
Was there a TEC faction in the game and how far into the game were you?
Wasn't that where most of the filming was done???
I have no idea what that previous post (#486) actually said...
Trade port links will work through something that is not colonisable (including suns, wormholes etc...), but stop if there planet is colonisable (e.g. Dead Planet). I had a link going for 3 systems the other day - main link in starting system to a wormhole, into the second system up to the sun, and then from the second sun to third sun and out to another planet I had colonised... Sweet... Not exactly sure how they work with allies though... But the fact their are neutral planet
Kill their military labs!!! Or try counter rushing HC
Researched artifacts are actually "found" artifacts - you found them by exploring planets and worked out what they did by researching them...
Ahh - there is the issue. You need a higher spec mark to play past the 3 hour mark :D
I'll cover English :)
There is also a tech for Advent which gives them automatic exp increase (over time) up to Level 4 IIRC. After that, you get a bonus to the exp of your cap ship. Plus one of the cap ship abilities allows you to transfer a destroyed high level cap ships level to a lower cap ship.
Tech support - in German... Is there nothibg The Monk cannot do? (Tech Support in French???) What was the question and the answer??? I'm guessing something about a missile launcher, level 3 something something 120 seconds being normal?
a router is a devise that sinds the internet into and outof your comp, it also helps to stop hackers and viruses from getting into your comp.
No - that is a firewall. A router allows more then one computer to sit behind an internet connection and share it.
2. whats a router
Maybe stay away from trying to host if you don't even understand what a router is. This is kind of like saying "How can I race a car" and then going "What is a car?"...
Really, I think it is "fixed" (not that I have played the Beta. I just hate having a reasonable fleet, but losing as I didn't kill the Vassari guy on the other side of the map within 30 minutes of starting the game...)
