I'll make sure to get Marza first and give it a try next game! Looking at the DPS charts and weapon charts are really misleading! Someone mentioned it in a recent post, but infocards with firing arcs and DPS values for different sides would be awesome.

I didn't know Marza packed so much of a frontal punch! I might have to try using it more often; it seems to be a ship that I often neglect.
I'm just interested in what you guys name your capital ships. I figured it would be a fun thread! I usually play TEC and name my first few ships very methodically. 1st cap: Kol Battleship Name: TDN Bahamut Why?: Because Bahamut is a friggin' mythological serpent-dragon in all of the Final Fantasy games and plus, it sounds like an awesome name. I just got in the habit. Plus he was a beast mid-game (lvl 7-8). 2nd cap: Kol Battleship Name: TDN Tiamat Why?: Well, Tia
The very first game of Sins I played had a pirate base with, I kid you not, 400 total pirate ships. I'm not joking at all. I sent a fleet of 300 upgraded ships (including some caps) to their base with confidence only to have it limp back defeated...it was ridiculous. Of course I haven't ever seen a pirate base that big since then, maybe it was just luck? Sometimes I get annoyed by pirates but usually every game I leave them on...it adds a bit of fun, right?
D E A R G O D You really spent some time on this! I agree with many of the changes but I don't know exactly how the devs will look at some of it. I'm sure they know a ton about the mechanics that we may not. Good work, though.

The OP seems a bit frustrated at...what seems like newer players. I just got the game a bit ago and I admit, I do some of the things that he mentions there. I love to get my economy up and running early on, and sometimes I try to take that gambit in small matches. Many times, it actually pays of. Regardless, posts like this really sound rather elitist. In every game you are going to have newer players who are learning. The only way to get better is to play more...and you are go
Sometimes I have this problem too. Each time, though, I think that it is just a misclick...ie accidentally drag-selecting a member of a fleet when clicking around the planets, etc. I usually catch them before they jump to another planet though.
