Oh, yeah... the old 3D glasses mode problem... Step 1: move away from the screen Step 2: wait for the drugs to wear off Step 3: have someone drive you to an optometrist Seriously, you probably have some setting on your graphics card to force 3D even in non-3D games.... or your monitor has that setting.

I guess it depends which I7 you're talking about, But I got myself one of the Haswell I7's when they came out and a new video card. However, the video card didn't arrive when the rest of the PC did, so I figured I'd try out the integrated graphics on it in the meantime. Full screen Anti-alia
Sith Lord, The reason we minimize the scope of the content is because zombie and I both know that the DLC's aren't going to have a lot of new assets. That being said the game can be altered, improved, and made to feel newer by altering small things here and there.
As I said, your way may be better, but I don't think it's that big of an expansion to add a few additional space stations, on

sareth01 and ZombiesRus5, I like the idea of embassies... adding something new to address something old. I don't think a new dlc theme of 'diplomacy' is a good idea though (deja vu?). I would say make the theme starbases (although I might just have contradicted myself). Let's get a few new kinds and let embassies be one of them. The current starbases should be the more powerful and jack-of-all-trades. But imagine cheaper, less powerful starbases with more

oh, so that just doubles most research... that makes sense then. I was looking at the numbers on some of them and wondered why it would let me take the higher tier before completing and a also be much more economically efficient to do so. Also was sitting there wondering how the hero thing worked before I pieced it together. I'm sure you have discussed all this throughout the thread, but it's at 31 pages now... a brief summary of new mechanics would be good to have. What

I'll agree that massive amounts of bombers are a problem at the moment. However it hasn't always been this way. You have to be smart and not let the AI get so far ahead. If they bring bombers, attack the carriers. Your only chance is to produce LFs faster than they can die or (if your factory at that world is gone) bring them in sizable groups. Be prepared for a counter attack though, that's a lot of fleet points you just freed up. Luckily, the direct counter to LFs are LR

alright... I'll take a look.... I just got a new PC and don't have open office on it yet, so it'll be a bit. I distinctly remember having to come up with some way of doing corvettes because they were the only frigate to be split between 6 factions instead of 3, until hours later I figured out the only difference was their special ability :) EDIT: ok, so I did it right away... everything is there. Titans, corvettes, Are you sure you didn't save the old l
I suggest you take a look at this post: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/379562/page/1/#2677224 It explains the whole counter system in this game. Its not updated for rebellion but it should include everything you just mentioned.
That's news to me... I'm pretty sure it has all the rebellion stuff in there. It might not be up to 1.52 though.

just a random thought from your question (though not an answer), maybe the recent resurgence of minidumps has to do with recording? Can you or someone who gets minidumps turn off all recording and see if you get a minidump?

Hey, I heard about your mod a while ago, came here to try it out but had a hard time finding what I needed to download. I eventually got something, turned it on and couldn't see a difference in the game. So, I gave up on it. However, I just watched part of your youtube vid on it and am willing to try this again. I'll let you know how things go.

right, because 'incitement to riot' is a perfectly straightforward law that is in no way dubious or unconstitutional. /sarcasm off As for the title of the thread and the end of your OP, if a riot or stampede, or mass dropping of ice cream cones had occurred... I'm certainly okay with charges going to the person for those specific acts. my personal definition of what constitutes a charge of 'terrorism

Jafo, I don't care about any of those other things you mentioned either; just like I'm sure you don't care about physics and calculus. I'm not saying my stuff is better or that I've never heard of them... to each his own. I'm sure I could've googled the city to figure out where it is, and I should have if I had thought it relevant. If there was only one Melbourne in the world, I probably would have. I stand by my earlier viewpoint on what sh

Scratch my post about the empire tree. I have no idea what is going on, but every game something different and incorrect is going on with the tree. This is not the standard jumping (which I've noticed less of than in the past). Stuff is out of order. I've seen fleets split because of minefields, the mentioned starbase and a few others that don't jump to mind at the moment.

This isnt 100% on topic, but I thought a good way to keep starbases as static defenses and work for the non-vasari races would be to have them sit on the phase lanes halfway between planets instead of in a gravity well. Well, there would be a gravity well, just not the planetary one. This would guarantee ships would be in range of the starbase for a time, but not make impossible to pass with out destroying. Mines could be similar.

I had this idea to make the advent culture centers also function as trade ports (supposed to be instead of them). I've looked at a few files: the planet module entities for the tradeport and culture center, plus the tradeport research subject. At first, none of this looks like it does anything (bare with me, I have no idea what I'm doing) but properly name everything, attach costs, and make sure you have the right research. No 'BUFF_generateCrazyIncome' or some
