I think I broke the forum. Nothing looks right on this page anymore :p

Warning: this is more of a nitpicking session :) Here, I'll start with someone else: Tony Stark: "Anti-electrons" Nobody who knows anything significant about quantum mechanics calls them Anti-electrons. They're Positrons . The only time you see the term 'anti-electrons' is when dealing with virtual particles. Even then, they're almost always called Positrons, but saying 'electron/anti-electron pairs' helps reinforce the idea tha
So let me throw this out... We send a simple virus through the rift that is already entangled with another simple virus. On reaching the other side, dimensional properties there change the nature of the virus and these changes transfer back to our entangled virus--carrying with them the strange and peculiar dimensional effects the other side of the rift provides. In some way, we want the sent virus to not have to be d
We're going to (in the Sins universe)... Contra-rotate two micro-singularities at fractional velocities of c and at specifically calculated and measured vectors. In my scenario, this creates a transparent and permeable aperture (rift) between our own dimension and another. Through this aperture information can be near-simultaneously transmitted via entanglement to or
you could have sent your fleet along before stripped to the core finished its warm up.
hmm... if you entangle a thought experiment, do you really think it? [e digicons]:|[/e] um, yes. what experiment do you wish to perform on my thoughts?
maybe you dont count against that limit? I noticed for one of the results, 100 people answered, but 1 skipped...
But surely you can see how someone else's definition of 'powerful' might be how it fares in a fight?
there is a screenshot button you can map in game. printscreen, to the best of my knowledge, only works when a game is in windowed mode and possibly when it does not have the focus.
hmm... I guess my response is that I don't think it really works that way. When it comes to games, I think people go for the best thing... costs be damned. Obviously, you have to field something while working toward that goal, so the cheap stuff starts you off. The midgame is where it gets hairy to predict what people will go for, so I guess you could be right at this point. The way you put it, I don't think that people stop and say "can I pull this off?" I think they say "wil

Somewhat anti-climactic.
It doesn't have to be that way. I think you're just hanging on to this notion that you want a battleship. I mean, off the top of my head and completely OP, it could death star planets from another system... That wo
hey... not to rain on your parade... nice work and all, but I'm worried about you putting Stardock's and Ironclad's logos on every one. Especially if you're borrowing pictures from other sources. I'm no artist, so maybe you know better than me how that works. And obviously, you aren't Stardock, but I'd be worried you might get Stardock in some legal trouble, for a time, from someone who sees the logo and just assumes it was from the company.
or invest in a middle finger. to right click. not to do that other thing you were just thinking of. [e digicons]*_*[/e]
I see no specific issue mentioned in your post, but here are threads from the first page of the forums: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/425218 https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/425088 https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/425239
So the other 5 factions get a titan and the VL get... to run away. Not sure I like how that plays out. I love the idea of going mobile, I think it's a very interesting dynamic and offers a very unique play experience. I'm just not sure that has to translate into a crappy titan.
So the fix, if needed, would either be a way to use that mobility itself as a weapon or some kind of empire-wide affect that
No, i know what it was like... but as I posted in another thread a minute ago... I have a feeling that a new RAM problem is cropping up. similar to the 2 gig limit. I have only rarely had lag issues, so maybe I should stick to the other thread, but I spoke up because of the mention of crashes, which I have been getting Actually, I do need to look up somewhere. I know that 32 bit o/s can't support more than 4gb of ram (in practice 2gb due to o/s reserves and other things),
lots of things can technically fall into that description but not be apparently true. Since we are working with little data, alot cannot be ruled out. Not to say I support axxo2's suggestion, but the ancient civilization could have been put into a hibernation of some kind and then the Vasari woke them up. Since they set them loose, it's their own fault. Therefore, they created this menace; even if they didn't actually genesis it. Before you nitpick on
ok... whatever just caused my latest crash had something to do with graphics... I notice my ship shooting green rectangles at something and then it immediately crashed. Since everything else looked fine, and since sins imports all the assets first, I'm thinking that maybe some of the Vram data is getting overwritten or somehow the pointers are incorrect. when it returns the bad data, it thinks everything is golden, but it just displays weird. However, I'm thinking that OpenGL/DirectX
titans always maintain their levels on rebuild. It is not a bug. It is designed that way.
I'm glad you took it well. It's something you have to expect with polls. And, for the record, I don't think it's worthless. But I can see people overstating the importance of things based off the results, and so it's important to bring up details now before all the results are in, to show they are unbiased.
I didnt mention other settings because I havent turned down other settings. I like to have things look good, and since putting it in windowed mode worked (up until today), that's the way I ran it.
hey, so I'm clear, I know that multi-threading isn't an option, but does Rebellion support 64-bit windows? For example, the big deal before was that the game would run out of RAM space, and couldn't address more because it was made for 32 bit. I'm wondering if maybe that or something similar with graphics RAM is the issue...
there have been numerous threads about this. The issue has to do with graphics settings. It's not that your system can't handle the graphics, but that sins can't. Running in windowed mode usually eliminates this problem. However, it's no t 100%... My game just ended on account of this.

th <span style="color: #
