Sins isnt a completly new idea, there was a game by ubisoft called "conquest frontier wars" with the same idea. In this game you have planets connected with wormholes. It was a little bit more like C&C styhle, but in space. There also were some very nice Racesetups ... You also have Capitalships with special Weapons. The Terran Battleship also has a shieldfeature similar to that from the kol battleship :) Iam pretty sure that Ironclad knows the game before :D <

Hello... iam not sure if iam the only one. But i play the game with friends against multiple AIs. But we cant play the TEC because of the Misslebarrage of the marza. The AI dont know that they have to stop the misslebarrage at all cost. So we can play with 2 players against 10 AIs without a problem. We only need 2 marzas at lvl six... And thats no problem if you go for a starbase at first, because the ai dont know how to fight starbases very well.
Hello, ive a CTD with savefile and crashdump. were is the right place to post it ? Any Email address for diplomacybugs ? i can reproduce the CTD everytime. I can load from older or newer savegames. The game will crash everytime on the same tim. i can do nothing oder can try anything.. it will crash evereytime :(
you have to change remove the german.str in the entrechment/strings folder. That what i ve done. the game is fully englisch than, but stringerrors are gone

i mostly go with 1 Egg, 1 Carrier Cap, and a bunch of HC and Overseers to the starbase. Longrangefrigs fight against fleet out of the firerange of the starbase. Some carriers will support as i mostly have some in my fleet. The overseers and the capcarrier will heal the HC. With Nanodiassembler the starbase will fall. @N3rull: great post about offtopic :) i hate it too.

On my first games i havent noticed that overseers are healing 250 damage in one sek. After i learned that i realy love this guys :) And another thing: there is a recycle ability for the vasarie. with that research (dont know the name) enemy structures and caps that are destoreyed gives you creds and ressources. over playing hours and testing misslebarrage i change my mind about it a litte. Against KI its just not fun at all, because if jo only build marzas u can kill every fleet. Up du 4 KIs testet. Most time the KI dont stops it So its overpowered because KI dont stop it. On Multiplayer Vasari has a huge problem with misslebarage because the only have one cap ship that can stop this ability as far as i know. And this ship is one of the weakest Caps in the game if you need DPS. I lik
as, ive tested missle barrage vs AI. I can say that MB is much overpowered against the ai, because ai dont break it. u can kill 3 full fleets with just 3 marzas and some defences in your orbit.... So i hope AI will learn to counter it with the next patch. So it just make no fun against ai.

i choose the marza too. But choose anotherone if u want play fair. The marza with his lvl6 ability is just too overpowered for the ai, because teh ai dont stops this ability. with to marzas at lvl 6 j can easily kill complete fleets in seconds. (Please fix this Ironclad). Just try not to take every planet. Iceplanets and volcanic are very expansie at the startup. U need the research AND u must buildup the planet min. to lvl 2, otherise your new colony costs you to much
The ai has to learn that a Marza misslebarrage must be stoped at all cost. otherwise u can win everybattle with just 2 or 3 marzas. By the way, i think other races need such a superability too... :) f.e. give the advent the old malice/cleaning brilliance commbo back...
i think the only race with disantvatage here are the vasari. u have to build a cap that most players dont want to be one of the first caps. the marauder. By the way, i dont think marza is overpowered, i just think the other are underpowerd. So, why is cleaning brilliance with malice nerfed when marza is not ?

I think the moving starbase is a huge advantage. so, if i have to decide between Topedocruiser and moving starbase i will choose the moving starbase everytime. As Vasari against Vasarie its harder, but your opponent has the same Problem. So may the better tactic win...
Make sure that u realy have the latest version. Had this behavior on one of the older versions...
