just curious where will we get the coupon? and does it apply to purchases made during the server crash?
id buy it again if it was GOTY[e digicons][/e]
LOL keep it up man it almost sounds real
AMEN all great games have one and sins is, in my opinion, more worthy of the award than most of the ones who have GOTY editions

Before sins came out, i always wanted a game where empire building actually felt rewarding. You know, not just constantly bombard your enemies with the "max units", but to use real world strategy that most people forget goes into real wars. Once i tried my first 5 sstar map against multiple unfair AI, i was hooked, NOT when i finishede quickstrike on easy with 10 cobalts. So, there's something to be said about a sense of accomplishment. Also, what feels better, seeing your 16 cap ships
i had this problem too. are you using a shortcut on the start menu that takes you directly to the game? if so, use the sins launcher found in the SOASE folder under stardock games. worked for me :)

you probably were using too great a movement and therefore were hitting the edges of the screen... try to make sure you only move it as much as you need to fingers "bluer skies await"
wow. I honestly have no idea how he could have managed to do this. Unlike what Cykur said, he would have needed to FINISH researching it before you raided his planets. So, I'm guessing that he took his limited income from his 3 planets and simply saved up to make one and simply PWNED U (sorry couldn't resist lol). I would have loved to see how the AI managed this. I think it would be under single-player auto-recorded games, though. fingers "bluer skies await us"
I respect people with losses more than people who are perfect (at least on paper). THis is for 2 reasons: I respect them as a gamer because it shows that they are battle-hardened. They know that there is someone better than them out there and they give that person their rightful W. Also, they know what it's like to lose, have hopefully learned from that loss, and are now both strategically and mentally mature. I also respect them as people. Even if I can't see them, I want that
vasari's my favorite :) insane military power
build up every planet you have, with gauss/beam/missile defenses, population infrastructure, emergency facilities, etc. AS SOON AS YOU ACQUIRE THE PLANET. I can't stress this enough! some players say that it's not efficient enough, takes too long, uses resources, etc., but while theyre criticizing you, YOU'LL have the comfort of knowing that your planet can defend itself, while they will be trying to destroy it and you are able to attack their home planet with ease. takes a while, but it works
