Quar no where in any of our convo did we discuss a tier 0 rush.It was all about mid game and late game.Advent is my fav race to play but you cant play them without spamming tier 0 units which as you stated is boring and not fun.Scouts are not combat units they are scouts hence the name SCOUT.I was gearing up for a lrf battle because I thought you were gonna school me on all the cool ilum and tkpush tricks that you stated would work against vas.I have known for a long time that advents tier 0

You really cannot kill flak or carriers with lf in mid game anymore.It is almost garunteed at least 30 lrf in a fleet by then toasting any amounts of lf.Along with 4 levels of pm ups.Also as vasari they dont need carriers by mid game.2 level 3 skirntras can produce like 30 ish bombers in just a few min.Along with the pm ups and the 30 kanracks any caps are toasted within 10-15 seconds.To counter this fleet you would need 60 fighters.In which case you really dont have anything to deal with the

I think fighters need an endurance buff.If they can live longer they can counter lrf and bombers better.Bomber spam late game is also a problem especially for vasari.Thier bombers are hard to kill and kill stuff at an insane rate.Advent need caps to make their fleet powerful and against vasari with 20-30 assailants OR 2 or 3 skirantra and 4 ups is not even an option.Tk push does not work and neither do fighters with a enemy flak.Advent flak do nothing to vas bombers.There really is literally

On easy you should be able to pick 1 cap.Then get a colony ship if you didnt get akkan.Now send you cap to asteroid colo it.PUt 2 civic labs down and move on to next planet colo it.Only civ research you should do is researching colonize for ice or vol.Soon as you can afford put 2 mil labs down and get javs.Have your hw rally set to your cap and q up 2 javs and keep 2 q up at all times for the rest of game.All the while you are colonizing without stopping.If you get free time inbetween researc
Ya thats what I meant about the rediculous advantages.Thing is I dont want to see all the races balanced ship to ship,dps to fp type balance.Makes the game the same with different skins.What screwed everything up was flak.Races had viable options when carriers were backbones.You could counter things like subverters and lrf then.

I really dont believe the game is supposed to be balanced race to race.Advent are geared to counter tec,vasari to advent and tec to vas.The problem with balance now is that some of the advatages over the others are rediculous.Like way out there.For instance we all know the skirantra is totally out of line.3 caps fielding 50 bomber squads mid game come on.Phase missiles are there too.Not to bad for tec because of hoshis early on.I think advent vs vas would be much more balanced if subjugators
Yep I have had some good ffa tho.You almost need to play with a group where everyone doesnt know each other.That way there is less backstabbing.Backstabbing is not fun.But if you get 3 teams all randomly fighting each other and there is room to expand is fun.
I agree with cykur 100%.I couldnt figure it out either.Sb was only way.IF you did survive with sb your opponent spammed ilums anyway got like50-80 with illusion and killed you sb anyway.Also you could hardly afford to up all your sb if you managed to get a few planets.Im not sure why you try to pick an arguement with cykur since he is prob 2x more skilled at this game.
