Hmm good suggestion.According to entity file it can target frigates.I will have to look into targeting structures.Could be a problem if there was 2 in same well recharging stuff and each other.

Im workin on a mod that is goin fairly slow as my time is limited.Tryin to center it around mp and makin all aspects of the game useful.Last time I made a mod it was just for mp and strictly fixed the main probs everybody was angry about but noone really used it.So this time I am makin it kinda based off my ideas and what I would like to see.Its a rough in at this point and not a ton of testing has went into it.I am going thru almost everything and trying to make it all useful for online play
Animosity no matter what you do in way of disabling ships can be more op than 1 subverter.1 sub can disable an entire fleet from shooting and moving.Add vas ability to deploy mines anywhere and you can destroy hundreds of ships with about 15-20 ships.So how is a cap ability going to overshadow this?

Would like to make animosity work like its suppose to.I want ships that get affected by it to attack the radiance.Would like player to lose control of those ships and they would forca attack it.How would I do this?

I agree with zoomers that smurfing is a huge problem for people that dont have alot of free time especially.Its no fun.Its no fun to be on a stacked team either.If I am in eco I never need to feed and I just play sim sin then the game is over.I would deync ot mini about 10-20% but smurfs were in 80% of the games I play.So I can live with the minis but the smurfing is a major prob.
For animosty.Why not just make it what it was suppose to do.When used enemy loses control of those ships and they target the radiance.Why is that so wrong?A subverter which is a frigate can completely disable a whole fleet from moving and firing or getting away.This ability wouldnt even be a disable.Whats the prob make it wokr like its suppose to.

I used this for diplo and entrench files and works perfect.I wanted to convert vanilla to work on research and such but it wont work.Not sure what the deal is?

Agree 100% here.Tec has the same problem.Kols dont work I tried em.You might have a chance with 3 or 4 sovas but thats only if you are on the defense with repair or he will pick them off.Vasari are so op its crazy.Once they get subs you might as well forget it as anyother race.There is no counter whatsoever.Divide your forces you say?Ya while your moving them he is killin you and disabling at least 50% of your fleet.Maybe layin down mines.Vasari can kill 100 lrf with nothing but subs and mine
Think about phase missiles.With 20% or 4th lvl they gain a guesstimate of about 20 dps over conventional weapon ups.So vas have massive bomber spam and they do the most damage plus hardest to kill.Its these 3 that make them rediculous.Phase ups are low and cheaper in the labs too.
Deciever can you put up the changes that didnt make it but were voted on up?Like the emp tree movement deal.That way we can keep it in the devs minds we really dont like it being so hard to use the darn thing.Plus I would bet the balance changes are the same.Still like to see dunov cast shield restore on itself.
I think am should go up as it levels.Maybe start a little higher too.
