I don't think flaks ever countered LRFs efficiently.
WWW Link How about a supercomputer built using graphics cards?
From the article:
For specific applications that can be massively parallelized GPUs are much faster than CPUs
Keywords are "For specific applications".
how can you kill notepad....
Dunno. Crashes on opening. I'm like the bane of computers if I'm in the same room. I'll figure it out eventually.
We're all shmucks, get over it.
Ditto. As far as I'm concerned, EVERYBODY is an idiot. I'd be surprised if this doesn't get locked eventually.
I'm like a (Biological) virus: Hard to get rid of.
As I understand it, Carriers will be about 20-30% better in terms of squads per price.
I've never heard of them. Where did you find them?
I have nerfed the COMPUTER CONTROL ability, for ALL races.
Thank you. That was a real nasty surprise the first time I played; the pirates leveled one of my planets using my own fleet.
Oh...by the way, 2.0 BETA...should be done by tomorrow!
But I was hoping for today... You've crushed all my hopes and dreams! *Sobs in a corner*
While interesting, I really don't expect to see something that complex in a RTS even as complex as Sins is. Anything you would have to stop to decide on just wouldn't work, I think.
Hey I don't want to burn everything down, think of the bunnies man, the bunnies.
Yes. Bunnies. A Fox has got to eat, you know.
You could just mod the speed options in the gameplay.constants file.no; i am looking to increase the income and not the actual gameplay... it just takes forever to get enough money to expand in the beginning of any level... that is why i am looking for this file.
I dunno where that file is. And my notepad seems to have killed itself for the time being. So I can't seem to find it. You can, however, just mod the resource rate option in the constants file under incomeSpe
I use Norton and still swear by it. As demonstrated in another thread, a lot of people disagree with me though. I find Spybot to be good, but Adaware just doesn't seem that great to me. In particular Adaware likes to split the same spyware app into a dozen different entries. It always looks like you just just cleared out a gigs worth of files when you run it.
Depends a lot on some other specs and budget, etc. Especially if it's an older or lower-end system. I only saw the current card in PCI-E. but to be sure: Does the system run PCI-Express video cards? AGP? For other specs, how much RAM and what CPU do you have? If those are real weak, it could be better to upgrade those. Offhand, I prefer Nvidia's 8000 and 9000 series.
On my Vista system it goes like: C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods Instead of typing when you can't see the folders, you can go to: Tools menu - Folder Options - View tab - select Show Hidden Files and Folders.
Kryo's right. A good videocard alone just doesn't cut it. Dropping a little extra for a new computer will get you more bang for your buck, and it will last a whole lot longer.
I also didn't get the accomplishment since a requirement was to do it alone.
I got the 3 Hard AI achievement by doing a 2 hard vs me and a hard. Just before we finished the 2nd enemy, I turned and stabbed my ally in the back, and I got the achievement. I was surprised.
Why speak correctly w|-|3/\/ u c@/\/ $p3@k 1337?
If I were a mod, and I were just a bit meaner, that would be bannable. ;)
I'm sure somebody would find fault even if there wasn't a game to find fault with.
One more thing now; i have almost finished my mod (it took me an hour to do and works perfectly) but i need one more tweak. That is, what file do i find the income sources for the crystal and metal asteroids? i want to increase them to make the game faster...
You could just mod the speed options in the gameplay.constants file.
Akkan's Ion bolt is invaluable to me and targeting uplink isn't bad. Which is the Vasari Crippler?
After doing some checking on one game, I discovered that my 3 AI allies were all enemies AND were all allied to all the AIs that I wasn't allied with. :NOTSURE:
I always forgot about my allowance for a few months until I realized I had enough for a video game. But once I got a job, I suddenly became an almost-miser. The only stuff I've really splurged on was a new computer to replace my (On average) 5-year-old computer and a few games. And lunches. I paid off almost $600 (got that because it can take months to find an entry-level job here, don't even start on professional jobs) of debt and now have almost $1600 saved and the new computer in abo
No. I almost never have a problem unless trying old mods. Are you using the latest version? Hardware to spec? Drivers updated?
Ram is a bit low. Processor?
Note that you can't see where it goes and ships won't auto use until the first time you send something through.
Or just someone whose first language is not English.
I'd heard of it before, but I didn't know it had an acronym. Ten seconds with Google fixed that.
