Oh dear... this is basically the basis of all my game wants. The higher level AIs could afford to do so, though. Just it researches it's way into massive upkeep so fast that even the Vicious AI can mostly just replace it's losses. It's actually quite a lot harder if you force it to research stuff more intelligently. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
Assuming you're running the Diplomacy expansion. Otherwise you don't. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]

Amazed this hasn't come up. Make the AI research with a modicum of intelligence. The AI beelines anything that allows them to build/do things (Except race specific tactical buildings and PJIs) and fleet supply, and that's it. It will only ever research anything else, even such critical things like phase missiles or pacts for all the envoys it loves, if it's fleet supply is filled up. And since it maxes fleet supply and loses ships so fast... I've found that the AI actu

Ah car insurance. I do hope I'm the average person they talk about in the commercials. I could just switch back and forth saving every time until they owe me money! /OT [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
Only if you give the AI a give resource mission. Research the relation techs and give the AI envoy missions. That depends too much on the game situation to say, really. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]

The whole thing is pointless without a massive sample size, and an hour plus of tests isn't the kind of thing you can get by having people stand around in a mall asking questions. This is for Entrenchment, not vanilla Sins. There was never a 1.041 version of vanilla Sins at all. Not only that, the options that this mod changes were introduced in Entrenchment. It's not possible to convert it to vanilla Sins. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
Numbers probably a bit low, but I like that idea. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
Trinity is the (current) full version of the game, expansions included. Try shift+right-clicking on them in Impulse and selecting Verify. If that doesn't work, send the minidumps to [email protected]. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
They never asked for AI recommendations then, either. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
1. No. Would be nice if we could. 2. Micro for max damage, keep an eye on stuff elsewhere. 3. Separate. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]

Yeah, Domina needs a big buff. Only the Halcyon and Progen actually scale for both early and late game, so they have trouble with anything those don't counter, too. Also, Induced Reverence is a bit too expensive, just like Colony Pods. OTOH, I believe it's the Javelis and Phaaaaaaaaaaaaase Missiles that are OP, rather than Advent combat ships UP. Same with Trade being way too effective compared to anything else. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
That's a problem with the other caps. Radiance doesn't scale, Rapture is weak early, and Revelation has one good ability. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
Colony frigs have rather good hulls, too. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
IIRC, turning off UAC needs a reboot before it takes effect. [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
