Maybe its a result of the new test build they pushed out to the mvpers
DaxxTrias
I have this problem with Shogun also. Except, with Sins I can simply toggle fullscreen mode and the cursorlock works. I mean it, simply goto video, check the windowed mode, hit apply, then during the countdown hit the cancel. For me it works everytime. Now for shogun II this does not work, so I instead use a program do it for me. http://www.snakebytestudios.com/projects/apps/cursor-lock/ &nbs
please do this
Well assuming you know howto research the level 1/2/3/4 of titan research, which i assume you do. I'd bet on that weird installation method being the problem, and the only thing I can think of suggesting is to simply delete everything and reinstall. Let the game automatically update the version for you. I mean, you do own it i assume, so shouldn't be a problem.
Me and a friend experienced it, despite its appearance looking an awful lot like an error, it really seemed to just be an alert. The game worked fine
According to my check unfair's get a 4.0x income bonus on all 3 fronts.
This is strange, I followed Harpo's instructions and lowered the max mine count of my planet entity files (150 -> 75) for testing lag reduction. I then played a 2hour game, my AI buddy had I made another change besides mine count to my mod, a research tech, so I'd know for sure it worked (I just simply changed the cost of one tech by -1 credit to know). So
I noticed it in one of my games. I don't actively look for it however so maybe it occured more for me. The difference is for me it occured several hours in, at max fleet cap stage and the guy had about half of his fleet composed of scouts. (Was an unfair TEC Rebel iirc)
I had a PS3, got it about 5months after it came out, and it broke in 2010. I then got a 360. Once the PS4/XB1 come out, I'll buy another PS3 since I expect the price to dip a bit more then. I've got plenty of games yet that are PS3 exclusive, or games yet to come out. And probably half of the games I'm really looking forward to will be PC ported aswell. Plus with PS4/XB1 being basically PC's
Not bad, by steam standards that price drop was like $40. Thanks for the alert. I didn't give the game a chance back when it was new and my brother got it, now though updated with DLC I'm inclined to give it a renewed shot.
Well in the state I live, in which I graduated HS over 6 years ago, they have since removed the ability to fail a grade. I'm unsure if this is national or state policy, but back when I was young, if you failed you got held back. Now the kids just simply move to the next grade anyways When you take this into consideration, I think you could say the ability to fail is being removed. Also when I first did my written exam for driving a vehicle, it was 25 questions or so
Something I was experimenting in my last game, is I would social spec my terran/ocean worlds, and stuff them with just enough refinery nodes to saturate all the nearby extracters, plop in one broadcast center on each of them. Then focus a trade port / industry spec on all my volcanic / ferrus. In the end I didn't spec roids or dwarfs, but still put trade ports on them. <span style="
Unsure if its a bug or bad AI design. Here I am about 5hours into a game, me my ally and 1 enemy left. I've conquered half the system, and my AI partner (Hard TEC-Rebel Aggressor) keeps spamming his scout frigates. Like half of his fleet is composed of scouts. http://i.imgur.com/QT4Mht7.jpg
Just making an observation, don't murder me. After witnessing the... Ferocity, Strength of Will, and Conviction of all the people in this thread, in response to one person's negativity. I now believe we need a new faction inside Sins. For lack of a better name, I shall pre-emptively name it: Stardock Loyalists.
I'm definitely of a mind to promote the usage of the DLC. It needs a few bug fixes however. I'm exceptionally glad Stardock/IC isn't like a bunch of other corporations, who would've given us even more bugs, and charged us $5-10 more for the same content. Lastly, the first time I saw a ferrous world I nearly pissed myself, and then after the shock wore off I felt like I probably broke some ankles & thrusters rushing to get to it. I mean a whop
Agreed! it is the 5th, open the floodgates!
I don't normally necro threads, however is is there a way we can run old replays such as these on the newer clients? I wanted to show these to my friends, specifically one of these two as I remember it very well. Unfortunately it doesn't work on my 1.1 / 1.5 clients.
Well I managed to get them to taste it, one as a TEC Loyalist, the other as the Rebel. I had currently been running flagship victory to prevent absurdly long games, however I'm beginning to think that's a bad habit. A second free cap at start feels a bit like cheating to me, yet endgame it doesn't last nearly long enough. I will test Diplomacy/Research victories to see how those behave. Also while I stated they are competitive, I offer
Surely they could've just locked the thread. Darn I didn't even save the changelog
I use linux on my work computer, but I use a very specialized flavor of it. My laptop isn't meant for gaming, or high powered cpu endeavors. I use it for data analysis / spreadsheets among other things on the fly. However for my home PC, I don't even dual boot, Win7 all the way for now.
All the concentration seems to be on the text, but what about the circles? Has anyone cross-referenced them under the assumption that they may be a map. IE, the central orb being a sun, the lines being phase lines. Maybe theres a 2-sun map that corresponds to these
Since they're new I want to show them comp stomp, but after they're accustomed to the races they like, move onto humans.
I have 2 friends who I've known for years, they're both like me in that they are highly competitive. However they also have relatively short attention spans. 4-5 hours is probably the maximum time they would likely be willing to spend per game, and as we all know this game can far exceed that! I've shown them the game many times, and they both love the RTS/4X elements to death, but the long game times bother them. I am looking
Win98 Good. WinME Bad. WinXP good. WinVista Bad. Win7 Good. Win8 Bad. I'm seeing a pattern here.
I'm of the mind to hope for the best, but not expect it until the sequel. I just hope we'll get a teaser trailer before the end of this year
