for sure. This game definitely needs a patrol function. simply queing jump orders gets annoying and time consuming after awhile
I think it might have to do with the phase missles. phase missles can bypass shields, so their ships are damaging the hulls of ships more quickly than other races, so they can get away with lesser DPS. Also, don't the vasari ships have superior combined shields and hull? this could be the trade-off for that extra protection.

oh! i never knew certain ships do more damage to others, i always just assumed bombers did more damage against everything except for fighters, and fighters were only good against other strikecraft. thanks for all the advice and oppinions!
Hey everyone, i'm just wondering what some of you vets out there ussually make your bomber to fighter ratios. Do you always keep it 50/50? or do you keep more bombers than fighters, or vice versa. Or do you change it int he middle of a battle depending on the enemy fleet?

So in the past i've ussually played as vasari. they are by far my favorite race, and this remains true in entrenchment. I've recently been trying out a game as advent, to see the changes that were made to them, and i encountered a heavily upgraded vasari starbase. I figure it would be a good chance to try out the new anti structure advent ships right? i was WRONG. my ships were wiped out extremely quickly, and i barely even dented the starbase's shield. so i'm wondering, how the heck should a

Hey everyone, i've been playing this game for several months now, and I've never really seen any use for the refinery. It seems like a good idea, but everytime i try to use it, it only nets me a very small amount of extra resources (.3 or .4 every tick or so). I'm pretty sure im just using them wrong. soooo, what is the proper way to use a refinery?

Hey everyone, i recently got the Sins demo, and i love the game. i am seriously considering buying it...the only thing thats putting me off is the lack of a campaign and the ridiculously long gameplay times (I'm in college, so i dont really have 3 hours to spare at a time for video gaming). Would you still recommend i buy it? does the lack of a campaign really hurt the game that much?
