But they won't because it's contradictory.
Hmm, but then why do i have a concept that is not contradictory and would work? I'm not saying it's been easy, 6 years of concept work rethinking everything under the sun, yet there is a way to pull it off. Yet, I don't have a team so it'll never see the light of day. That is, unless you were even slightly interested.

I would say volt, that the idea of an mmorts with today's understanding of gaming is not going to work. A complete innovation on all fronts of what makes an rts and an mmo work, especially by someone with a military/history background can yield something new (well at least I hope). The company that gets it right first will make billions, the market is primed and ready for it. Now game companies just need to get their heads out of their collective asses and deliver.
But if you build a couple SC of your own to counter the guardians, you should be fine.
as AL, i would counter by building flak of my own. Advent flak are stronger, and i'll wear you down.
Nitrous is a Stardock product, but Sins 2 is going to have to be made by Ironclad. It's possible Sins 2 could use Nitrous but I wouldn't necessarily count on it. It could well be Stardock's new Star Control game for example that is the first to use it.
Hmm that might not be a bad idea, get the kinks in the new engine worked out with star control so that Sins gets the best shot as a new mmo. I'm not interested in a star control
I think it's safe to say that Nitrous's debut game will be a space-based RTS of some sort. Maybe not Sins II, but something probably similar given that they've been trumpeting it as built for epic-scale RTS games and single-planet RTS games don't hit the same unit caps that space-based ones do unless you wanted to do something like simulate all of D-Day or something.
If that's not sins 2, i'
Well if you read carefully he said that the result will be that many sins games will be sold this year as a result. So, I wasn't really expecting a big change, this is just maintaining the cash flow from the franchise while they work on other projects.
propagating information is key :)
Yeah that's my concern too. But I wouldn't classify them as "insane," because no one uses them. Just because a ship is good in one game out of 200 does not mean it is useful. So I'm guessing a small buff for subs, moderate buff for cielo? TBH, I don't really care much for domina since guardians are the best support cruiser in the game and the advent repair platform combined with prog healing makes regen not a big deal for advent.
Oh I st
I don't see the lack of early healing as large of a problem for advent, in fact over all the changes proposed by sinkillr would be to buff the vasari massively, give the TEC a moderate buff, and the advent a small change. Honestly, domina's don't add nearly as much to the advent fleet(as it's balanced around not having healing as it is) as say a cielo, while subverters are just insane when used by a skilled player. Luckily, so many games end or minidump before the
you could also, as advent, get your own repulse and out micro your opponent. i've done that a few times :)
Saying a right is god-given is another way of saying it is a natural right . As if god created the universe then any rules inherent in the universe are obviously intended to exist by him. In the case of firearms they are referring to a natural right to freedom and self defense. Now you know.
I couldn't have said it better myself. An quick and easy way to disprove
Fascinating you say that.
I'm curious, what did you find fascinating?
I agree with Sel, 5 star rating for the Missile Barrage ability of the marza. The survivability of the corsev is actually very high, I find this ship to be the toughest late game capital ship to kill because of the the healing ability. The target cap is still high enough to be quite deadly, and for a recurring capital ability its quite powerful, making the corsev a real consistent threat. A massed Kol fleet is highly deadly, mixed with a few dunovs and the TEC fle

Double post >.
The icon issue is not much of a bug though, I didn't even notice it as I just selected the planet automatically when I couldn't build another starbase constructor from my starbase. This post shouldn't be just a mod though, the movement of the starbases works so well it's like it was meant to be implemented into the game. As TEC Loyalists i can actually attack vasari without as much worry about them (granted this is vs 3 vasari AI on unreal difficulty). &
You forget, I crowned Mecha. Mecha then proceeded to post unusually worthless drivel and go crazy, eventually silencing himself. What happened was both funny and predictable, that is why I made that post making him the troll king in the first place. Sel is like prince john in Robin Hood, only there because most of the good ones have left. When sins heats back up it will be go time again, lots of lurkers in these forums, the game just needs some new life. Hopefu

@ Fury I LOVE YOU. SERIOUSLY. Okay...I am amazed. I have put the files in to check it out and i'm blown away. Not by the "overpowered aspect", in fact there is nothing overpowering at all about an advent starbase that moves at 50% speed of the orkulus, fleets EASILY retreat from it, the only time it becomes perilous is when the advent starbase has phase jump inhibitors, which SHOULD be perilous. I'm going to test the TEC loyalists in a bit

Here is another character, easily overlooked by Goa: Sareth01/Carpetbomb: Lurking behind the scenes and blatantly public in others, this Dark Priest interprets the will of the troll gods for the dissemination to the lesser trolls, twisting the will of troll kings and publisher gods alike for forum domination. But his ambitions do not stop there...
