:) I like the different size planets. Is it possible to get them really huge? I mean like the size of stars? It would also be nice if the ships were larger. Its silly, but it seems more epic when the planets and ships seem larger than life. Do you know if this can be changed in the zoom to size? or do we need the devs to change the actual models themselves? Actually, it may sound odd, or morbid, or even sadistic, but actually after i load the mod i have for adjusting the hull and shield/antimatter restore rates. Which is rather high, i go looking for pirates, and even made a map with like 9 pirate bases in one star system and looked in the game events to see if i could decrease the time between launches like to every two minutes , just to wade into battle and have fun. It means for constant, and i do mean constant battle! :) <

It is only my two cents, but it is nice to have "weapons" that are not really guns-with-bullets kind of weapons. It makes for a more interesting game, where there are tactics and strategies beyond just the simple shoot-em-ups. -Teal
I don't know which race DanMan or his team is using for one of the scenarios, but i ran into a race, the rogues? that were dominating the heck out of my fleet, I lost half my fleet and all of my capitals to them. I went backoff off planet and made a little colony ship with domination ability and spammed it about 50 times... it would be nice to have small upgrades that increased the kinds and numbers of ships for our fleets. I mean without waiting for an expansion, perhaps in the micro expansions they are doing they are including the new ships? this way ongoing the kinds of ships and tactics would increase, making the game different to play each time a new expansion is released. -Teal
@ teal: in that chess style game, what would be the incentive to hold worlds at all if you cannot produce more ships. arguably to make them stronger via research, but thats a bit low. people would tend to cluster their forces for fear of being taken apart if they split it and there is less incentive to split, because defending worlds isnt so important any more. I have a few ideas in mind to make it work, but they all need quite some modifications, so I doubt its any good. &nbs

Advent :) I like the sleekships and the abilities. And I think it is just a bit harder than playing the vasari or the tec. I could be wrong, but I like the little more difficult feel, haha. I recently played the original HomeWorld and Homeworld 2, and there was a lot of good memories in replaying them, even though the graphics are of course dated. The graphics of Sins in contrast is much more modern and detailed, however the game play is completely different. I played the mod that you made wraith and my hat is off to your wonderful effort, the models do in fact look just like they are out of HomeWorld. Only three quick points though, would be the new textures to update the graph

Last night i was replaying HomeWorld 2, it is a dated game, but though the graphics are not as intricate or detailed, the "style" of the game play was interesting. It has been a while since I played, but I really miss the "story mode" of the missions, one arc or action from one map to another.
