Haven't been online for a few weeks, i've been up to my ears in entity files, haha. I would never consider myself a coder, but am facinated with the customizability of this game, and so i find myself having all these silly ideas to change things to make it sorta "my game" if you know what i mean. I started out changing values, up the armor, up the weapons, load the mod and see what it looks like. That got to the point where it was boring because i just walked through a game and nothin

Annatar11, Thank you!! I had a 63 x 63... but didn't realize it needed to be 50 x 50. Thank you. Oh... just as a followup, I got the capital fighters and bombers, as well as the beam and projectile weapons, two of the Anima powers and the colonize and capture powers from the missionary vessel. I tuned down the speed, but increased the weapons by about 20

Does anyone know how to upload a pic for your avatar? I know it sounds silly, but I keep uploading and nothing shows up, either in ie, or in firefox. hmm.... :) Thank you for the wonderful avatars!! These are wonderful!! Quick question if i might though, is there any reason why a jpg file 63x63 shouldn't load from the desktop for the avatar in images? i've only been playing/changing things for a week, but have mostly messed with numbers. have changed some weapons from one ship to another. i thought it would be cool to have a beam weapon on a scout. actually i wonder why the devs didn't have projectiles for the tec, beams for the advent and maybe some different plasma effect, perhaps like globs of light shot from the vasari. it would make for a nice difference, off topic, but anyway, now i am attempting to move some abilities from one ship

Lordkosc, you can up the opposition, yes? I think in the setup, just prior to running the game. Also, you could do like me, haha, raise the weapons and shields, but put them on the badguys instead of you. Or I could do it for you, and send along the zipped files for the mod. After losing my first two games, which were all of maybe thirty minutes apiece, I opted for a trainer. And quickly maxed everything in sight... Just a quick note now that I'm into my first full week with SoaSE, It is great!! I am mostly a 'single player' player, and the days long games for the first few games has been interesting and great fun.
