Sounds like the screen resolution doesn't fit anymore. Where are the files kept for Sins of a Solar Empire (such as screenshots and such?) Please note these directories may be Hidden by default. Did you make sure that the mod works with your version of the game? Sounds like it doesn't. To get the normal game back, delete the mod's folder: Where are the files kept for Sins of a Solar Empire (such as screenshots and such?) Please note these directories may be Hidden by default. In the forums it should be the avatar image.
Do you mean in-game or here at the forums? In-game you choose a set of pictures, 1 for each race.

The file binkw32.dll should be located in the game's main folder. Have you checked that it is there? Have you tried verifying the game using Impulse and did you update to the latest version (1.16 and 1.02 for the addon).
Yeah, good idea! :-)
And, that the next addon will focus on diplomacy and piracy, errr, pirates.
Oh my, I really liked your mod. Unfortunately I don't have it anymore, sorry! Why isn't it hosted on filefront any more?
You're welcome :-)
Allow me to add this feature request: have your own ships, upon the retreat command, jump not only to the closest allied or neutral grav well, but also fly into the range of repair bays or AM rechargers by themselves.
I recommend RevoUninstaller.com It will execute the normal uninstall routine + scan for left-over registry entries, files and folders. Another solution might be this: "You may need to manually remove the game folder, and delete 2 Registry Keys before you'll be able to re-install. Go to C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire (or where ever you installed the game) an
No way to do it, if you don't have a backup of the old version, sorry. Impulse won't let you downgrade, of course, but there are other sources... [e digicons]:-"[/e]
1.16 and 1.02 are the latest versions. Do you want to downgrade to 1.05 to play some old mods?
Have you tried a complete un- and re-install of both Sins and Entrenchment? I think beta 3 required that, because of the new manifest system.
I had the same problem once. Complete un- and re-install should work.
Yes, the ideas are good. Both for new races and for the existing ones I could imagine it. It would add (even) more depth if the starbase constructors could build different SB's from the start. Could be done by modding, hinthint :-D
Write to , they will sort it out. To your liking I hope :-)
will also help you, if the usual measures like complete reinstall of the game and Impulse fail.
There is. Impulse will ask you after purchases which language you want to install. :-)
If you really want to make a statement, pirate the game and mail the development studio a check for $100. That should get the publisher's attention.
[e digicons][/e]
1) Delete the pirate base from the .galaxy file. Either by editing it in Notepad or GalaxyForge. Be sure to make a backup though, if you want to play online (I guess it checks if every player has the same map). For 2 and 3 I have no answer, sorry. Have you tried searching the forum? I think it has been discussed before. :-)
Looks good, thanks! :-)
Can you post a screenshot? Press the print key in-game and it will show you the path. Upload it to something like imageshack.com and link the URL here. :-)
I have been wondering about that, too. It's propably a bug. I think scouts and colony frigates should be excluded.
