Sounds like the screen resolution doesn't fit anymore. Where are the files kept for Sins of a Solar Empire (such as screenshots and such?) Please note these directories may be Hidden by default. To unhide them, go to your Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View and set yourself to view hidden files and folders. XP: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings

Did you make sure that the mod works with your version of the game? Sounds like it doesn't. To get the normal game back, delete the mod's folder: Where are the files kept for Sins of a Solar Empire (such as screenshots and such?) Please note these directories may be Hidden by default. The file binkw32.dll should be located in the game's main folder. Have you checked that it is there? Have you tried verifying the game using Impulse and did you update to the latest version (1.16 and 1.02 for the addon).

Allow me to add this feature request: have your own ships, upon the retreat command, jump not only to the closest allied or neutral grav well, but also fly into the range of repair bays or AM rechargers by themselves.

Another solution might be this: "You may need to manually remove the game folder, and delete 2 Registry Keys before you'll be able to re-install. Go to C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire (or where ever you installed the game) an

1.16 and 1.02 are the latest versions. Do you want to downgrade to 1.05 to play some old mods?

Have you tried a complete un- and re-install of both Sins and Entrenchment? I think beta 3 required that, because of the new manifest system.

Yes, the ideas are good. Both for new races and for the existing ones I could imagine it. It would add (even) more depth if the starbase constructors could build different SB's from the start. Could be done by modding, hinthint :-D

There is. Impulse will ask you after purchases which language you want to install. :-)

1) Delete the pirate base from the .galaxy file. Either by editing it in Notepad or GalaxyForge. Be sure to make a backup though, if you want to play online (I guess it checks if every player has the same map). For 2 and 3 I have no answer, sorry. Have you tried searching the forum? I think it has been discussed before. :-)

Can you post a screenshot? Press the print key in-game and it will show you the path. Upload it to something like imageshack.com and link the URL here. :-)
