Should the game also show you the whole path to the file when you press the screenshot button?
Cathryne
Advent Halycon Carrier. Looks really great!
It is hidden by default. Did try this: In Windows Explorer go to Tools>Folder Options>View and checked 'show hidden...'?
2: if you have a pirate base in the path and assuming that is the only path to your territory. You will see the AI not attempting to treapass the pirate base to you. So, in a way, they are a good deterrent.

AI will not go through the pirate base, even if they are inactive. If they did, they would suffer quite a bit of damage before reaching your planets.
I disagree :-P With GalaxyForge I created a few maps with pirate bases as chokepoints
How about going a step further and making the list of upgrades available on the constructor ship? Go here and build a base with this configuration?
AWESOME! [e digicons]5*[/e]
so it takes 10-15 minutes for my enemies to notice anyway
To notice their homeworld is gone? Sorry, I don't get it [e digicons]X|[/e]
You can also lay mines around wormholes (as Advent and Vasari at least). That's wicked cool! [e digicons][/e]
Would it also be possible to make the upgrades available as soon as the base starts to build? Everywhere else in the game you can access subsequent structures, units and techs as soon as the prerequisites are queued. :-)
Yeah, this has been noted before. A solution might be to add a 'select all superweapons' to the menu where you can also select scouts, colony frigates, cap ships etc. :-)
Yes, 7DS is compatible with 1.05 (or below, I'm not sure). Definetely not with 1.10 or higher, sorry!
Open Impulse, click the icon in the top left corner and select 'Register a product...'. In the bottom right corner select 'Add registration' and fill out the form. Impulse should then reconnect or restart and then show your purchase in the 'My Games' tab. If that doesn't work (sometimes using different email adresses causes problems): write to , explain and they will help you. You could also try to uncheck 'Show hidden applications' (which is only clickable
Hm, I would have suggested to remove the 'spiralgalaxy.dds' entry from the 'texture.manifest' file but the latter doesn't even exist. Sorry...
Well, you can mod to toggle default autojoin to off for all ships. Every ship entity has "autoJoinFleetDefault" at the top of the file, just set it to FALSE and ships will never auto-join fleets.
Cool, didn't know that. Thanks! :-)
The planets grav well sizes are defined in their entity files: moveAreaRadius (bigger) and hyperspaceExitRadius (smaller). The phase lane lenght of course is specified NOWHERE. If you make the planets bigger, you have to move them further appart in GalaxyForge (in by setting the pos [ X, Y ] to bigger values in the .galaxy files). :-)
Hm, I never have noticed this, but I support your suggestion! :-)
I usually pin frontier planets and wormholes to the empire tree to notice an invasion.
I'm not sure if this works: Delete something from the game folder. Probably the sound folder, exe files and english.string file (basically anything language related. In Impulse click verify game which should result in a re-install of the game. Here you can choose the language. Hopefully now only the language related files are re-downloaded. If that fails: complete reinstall. Hope that helps!
Use the forums search: "change log 1.XX" There's one for each version. When did it start working again? [e digicons][/e]
I agree with this. At least tell us how to mod it off by default, if that's possible. Please! Thanks! ;-D
Maybe it's a bug related to that tech. Did you have a TEC-AI enemy?
edit: please remove this post, thanks!
I would add that the lack of audio warning has to fixed with a patch, not with new techs. Don't know how or if the game has some priority of loading audio files? But apparantly sometimes the pirate warnings are being repressed by other audio :-( As for the "level 2" idea: researching the phase-space-radar-thingy allready gives you the vague direction (level 2 of that tech) AND the specific target (level 1). Just not as early as you would like. Having some scouts or captured extractors
Good ideas! It would probably be easier to mod/implement as a culture % than a planet bonus. I think... :-)
I like the three new capship ideas since they reflect the civillian focus of the next addon :-) Good thinking (about their abilites esp.)!
