Shouldn't moons be in the same well as the planet?
My thoughts exactly, it would gave the game more diversity than the way it is now. Planets with a moon can have more population and more logistic/militairy slots. This would make a planet with 2 or 3 moons incredibly appealing to take early on to make a forward base.
Did they change it somehow from this concept? I absolutely love the main body and wings, and even the little disk thingie, but what really throws me is those "legs". They just look far too fragile and... pointless. I don't know maybe if they were pointing backwards like a tail and were a bit bulkier I'd be 100% sold on it, but I'll wait until I can see it in-game.
I completely agree, t
I'd say the flagship still gives advantages in lategame, you can lure the enemy's fleet towards one side of a solar system/gravity well
Not to mention it's normally impossible to take a planet under the influence of enemy culture.
I think the advent will be released first, some of the vasari icons (loyalist ship/abilities) aren't done yet. While the advent seems good to go.
Ah I got it now, turns out I was messing with the wrong file. thanks
I changed it to: group condition type "PlanetOwnerIsRaceNormalStart" param "TechLoyalist" owner "PlanetOwner" colonizeChance 1 &nb

1. I agree the loyalist titan can repair itself too fast, you can just park it in front of a starbase, get some coffee, take a shower, go shopping and when you return the starbase will be destroyed. 2. I wouldn't say it's completely useless just yet, it's just that nobody has completely figured out how to use them correctly. Chances are someone will develop a strategy and it'll be considered overpowered in the near future. Or not :p 3. Well that's a rather
Please don't have titan deaths do splash damage, it'll be horrible. A a more visual demise would be nice though. It could also have certain 'stages' of destruction like some large units in CnC4. The random flames sprouting out doesn't quite cut it for me.
I agree the loyalist titan is extremely hard to take down thanks to his repair ability.

In my opinion you guys shouldn't be too bothered with balancing the game as it is yet. You can't balance anything until every race is playable. The duration of your average game is supposed to be smaller so it makes sense every race is stronger compared to Diplomacy. Furthermore, let's look into their actual use in online pvp. You need to invest a whopping 4 military research station, then buy all four upgrades, make a titan construction yard, gain additional command slots
It kinda beats the purpose of a beta though, they want us to test the tec faction (probably because it's the only faction that's 100% done). Thanks for the screenshots though, very interesting.
Yes I've noticed this as well, its a small thing but it needs to be fixed regardless.
Take note that a titan takes thee command (if I recall correctly)
Either they aren't in the beta yet or you have been unlucky to not get them.
Just click on "checkout".
Another question, when I want to pre-order rebellion from the stardock store I get: Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion [Pre-Order]- Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion Upgrade [PO]- Giving me a total of €48,42 What, I don't even... No option to pay with paypal either.
The new skybox looks nice as well, less extreme in terms of colors. I might actually enable it.
How? they always want me to attack one of my other allies. Playing with all the diplomacy settings is fun for one or two games but then it gets rather obnoxious. The same can be said about having to babysit the pirates.
Figures, otherwise they could've said 'especially vasari'.
Hello, So I was watching the lore page I noticed this sentence. "Those who rebel against the coalition take on a purely militant view, coming to the opinion that the only way to bring peace is by ultimately crushing all who oppose them - especially xenos ." Am I missing something here? Or am I just paranoid knowing that ironclad hid hints regarding vasari's pursuers.
