Although I do believe it was the "Epitom e ", mon frer, I do have a few ships of my own. Some that would blow you away. A few bases tucked away somewhere safe, and over a hundred worlds pillaged. and don't call me kid.
Orodum
One thing I have found is that Vasari have a major advantage over Advent, if played just right . i.e. drop up to three warfare labs, then research all phase missile upgrades and shield/health upgrades you can (I forget if shields are at level 3 or 4). make sure you get the Assailant ASAP, and possibly the Sentinel, depending on their fleet. Advent is a very shield-heavy race, and Vas is the only race that has armor/mitigation bypassing tech. (Death egg destructo
drat. been too long since I played TEC.
The Epitomy? hmm... the name is familiar, though I can not place where from. What ist thy rank and assignment?
He posted so the idea could be fleshed out. that's kind of why we post, rather than simply e-mailing the devs. My point was that he didn't specify details, so it's silly to accuse me of having misconceptions. Anyone who looks at this idea is going to interpret it uniquely, and it's silly to fault people for that. I felt I made fair presumptions given the ambiguity of the suggestion.
&
What class of ship is thou assigned to?
If those quotes are in the Halo Mod, ill NEVER play anything else =P
"What if you miss?" "I won't." "You did that on purpose." (maybe after a suicide run. hmm... suicide button on frigs...)(Cortana)
That's a LOT of assumptions Okay, I'm calling hypocrasy here because I'm tired of this (it happens a lot). You give no specifics in your original post, so to make an analysis I have to make some reasonable assumptions. absolute tons. think half the total fleet supply
In the words of the UaW Peacemaker, They'll get here eventually
Micro is very fleet-composition, personal strategy, and play style specific here. there could be a couple general good combinations, but that's about it. and those are in the strat guides if you wanted to make a complete guide (or near complete) it would be many, many pages long
you managed to break the ships? wow... they should all be able to attack, no matter how many targets there are (assuming there are targets) but a late game spam fleet doesn't really see like a good idea. esp with light frigs. wonder how HCs would do...
maybe is we start chanting a dev's name, they will come. frogboy...frogboy...frogboy... lolz
Those bildings cannot be targetted. I know, it's been an annoyance in many a game vs vasari.
odd. the AI can target them.
thanks, that does help
well, the phasic cloaking ability 1) is channeled, 2) costs a lot of antimatter [total], 3) doesn't let the ship move or fire, and 4) doesn't let the ship repair. and it's only on scouts
Hey, anyone know what the data transfer rate is for SoaSE multiplayer? I've got a 5 gb/month limit on my internet conection, and really don't want to exceed it. is it like single-digit kb/h, or something?
well, it turned out that the stock graphics driver breaks it. got that updated, and the game works well. at least the menu, anyway. don't have time to start up a game.
Its called MAD. That is why Moscow isn't glass. Though I think that a war with such a race could have been avoided by the same principle. AM bombs are deadly, but firing anything near c is overkill. no. we didn't nuke Russia when they developed nukes.
I win because I am the apocalypse!
They are very useful if used right. Their turn rate is still incredibly slow, but if you keep them behind you fleet, they should be able to use their abilities without too much delay. In the largest fleets possible, you might want up to ten of these. but that's about it.
All balanced RTS games have 3 races. Human/Alien/techno or psychic type races.
well, AoE has around twelve factions, and it's incredibly balanced. esp. AoE3, which has each race with completely different units, but they all average to about the same strength, battle-wise. some factions have primarily strong, expensive units, while others are more like the Zerg - weak, inexpensive units. b
because most players operate with multiple fleets
