damage is dealt every x number of seconds, as weapons hit. so, assuming first hit is at 0 seconds, it'd be something like this: 0 seconds: +12 damage (all these are without mitigation) 2 seconds: +12 damage 4 seconds: +12 damage and so on. mitigation will slowly reduce the damage amounts of each firing, and damage is only recorded when the weapons hit, in the case of missiles and other non-instantaneous weapons. the Ko

I'm thinking that there is a dual-targeting ability in the side beams which sin't supposed to be there. and the graphical recycling rate doesn't show the second target hit, being a quarter second after the first.
so THAT's why the Illum has been such an OP ship
Why Sins?
because they flipped a coin, heads for Sins of a Solar Empire, tails for OMFGILLUMFTW! be thankful it was heads. lol
before the flight, they had at least one Variment of shock troops on each Kortul, either for boarding or planetary attack. I'm thinking boarding, but that's just opinion.
attack antimatter and research your phase missiles, and shield/hull upgrades. the Kortul's destructive nanites and overload (I think that's what it's called) abilities are pwnage when combined with phase missile swarm from the Vulkorus. Space egg is awesomeness with nano-disassembler and gravity warhead. get one/two. other than that, lots of Skarovas, Kanraks, and flak frigates (Advent are strikecraft heavy). the Skarovas will keep the otehr ships away

campaign/storyline/race addition? maybe we'll find out what's chasing the vasari, and then all the races band together to defeat it...
finally got around to reinstalling the thing, same problem on my Vista computer, without the latest game update. I tried installing it on a friend's to see if the disk had gone bad somehow, and it works just fine (v1.0). I think I might need updated drivers... will check.
still at least another game in Soccer, after that, I can finish writing the next post.
well, in this case, they don't have anyone who knows anything about the ship, the language, or the technology, other than Rush. Now, while he may be willing to sacrifice some, I believe (based on observations so far) that he does what he does in order to save as many people as he can. (*SPOILER ALERT*) thus why he cared who went into the shuttle to plug the leak. and what the hell was that thing that broke off of the ship at the end of the second episode?&

Yes, the community knows the Phase stabilizers have been bugged since v1.0. from phase stab. inactivity and nonfunction when a planet gets the construnction boost from the Jarrasul, to the one-way working in the Orkulus. it's an old and tough problem that they're working on

They got hit and launched SC. They only got out of the way once they realized the planet was going to blow. Maybe you should go back to the episodes explaining the history of the Ancients. They built Atlantis after being infected with a plague created by the Ori and then traveled to the Pegasus Gal

I've been on the giving and receiving end of a Vasari starbase in a plasma storm (in a few cases this was a choke point that couldn't be avoided!). This is not the kind of thing you want to take on without decisive force.
Orkulus.. in Plasma storm-chokepoint... with Debris Vortex... Frontal Shields..
well at least since v1.16 vanilla, (my game's broken. dunno why.) the Hoshis were an extremely large part of TEC fleets, if only for the repair ability (which is omni-directional and very strong). perhaps that's changed since then, but if it hasn't, then Hoshis really don't need the upgrade. the only time they really use the destructive abilities (in my experience) is during small, unexpected skirmishes on backwater worlds. Subverters need maneuvera

I was disputing why the Atlantis would be outfitted with a Hyperdrive when a FTL (whatever it may be) was put on the Destiny far before Atlanstis was created. They said it in the first episode, they dont know what it is and never seen anything before that before. which tells us this is a new propullsion device. But a device the Ancients created pre Atlantis.
It always bugs me to pull ap

Flagship designation is given to the single highest level capitol ship in your entire fleet. If there are two of equal level, neither will recieve the flagship designation. Normally, you assign leadership of a fleet to the flagship, out of habit, and that's the connection a lot of people see.
Every five minutes you get to hear a guy who just sprinted ten miles say "Our ships have exited phaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase space" and then laugh at Mr. Raspy. plus, Fleet Immobilization + instant jump gate from the Kostura is pure p0wnage. a tip: mix Volatile Nanites (Kortul lvl6), Phase Missile Swarm (Vulkorus)(and I refuse to use the acronym), and Gravity
