Who cares what you think, you dont care what anyone else thinks. You quote and answer badly. your post only makes sense to you. People have pretty much stopped replying to you because you have defeated most of your own points(by yourself I might add) You dont actually want or exspect any kind of response from either ironclad/stardock or the people on the forums. This is your way of making entertainment by using the anonimety of the internet to see if you can get other p

Wait a minute. Now I remember. Epiclulz... This is the same person that complained some time ago about there not being stand alone patches for the game up to v1.1. Many of the arguments are the same. The language and tone is still the same. That would mean that you did in fact not BUY the game recently. You sir are a pirate, a thief and a liar. You are mistaken if you think people are that stupid. You could have changed your nic, that would have at least helped. Im sure
It actually gets worse. They called their daughter airian nation
[e digicons]^_^[/e] This is fantastic/ I love being right! Let me quote myself
I personally dont think anything anyone could say (no matter how true) would change your mind about what you obviously believe is true.
you say(and I quote you)
And notice how your arguments keep deteriorating
Let me quote you again to respond to that
what the fuck

whatever the fuck

ho
I personally dont think anything anyone could say (no matter how true) would change your mind about what you obviously believe is true. You are exactly right in the fact that you can get this game free from pirate bay or anywhere for that matter. You are more than welcome to download V1.05 and play it till your eyes bleed if you want. Like I said in the first post. You pay for the serial key that upgrades the "demo" V1.05 into the actual game V1.1 For that and things like constant dev support
If planets started orbiting the star at different speeds, then the phase lane connections could change to different gravity wells every so often. That would give the oppertunity for some crazy stratagies [e digicons]*_*[/e] and would also make the game very difficult [e digicons]XO[/e] , but I would have to guess that this wont happen because of coding issues.
Actually you buy the serial key. Its kinda like an ice cream. If you buy someone else's half eaten ice cream from them, you cant go back to the shop and demand a refill for the cone. You would have to get that from the original owner [e digicons];P[/e] (if it hasnt been digested yet)
You could also place mines just outside the starbase range to "funnel" incomming fleets into the effective kill zone. Maybe even as an automatic deployment or upgrade to the base. That could ballance out the range issue
Have you tried adjusting the slider for engine trails in the options menu. I know that many/all of the effects are rendered in 2d so that if your viewing angle is to close to trails, beams and shield restore they just dissapear untill the angle changes. What are the other settings you use. Ship bump count, AA. What make of card do you use. Moridin [e digicons]:maybe:[/e]

Why cant you see enemy targeting lines, once they start firing on something? Do I have to pause the game and kind of line up the ship in question to see just who or what that ship actually shooting at? *edit* 2nd thought. Why do capital ships not have multiple targeting lines when the can attack more than one target at a time?
Ignorance is not an alibi. You should have read the line "updates will only be available via impulse" included in the original game manual and various publically available sources. Stardock did say that they are working on a offline serial activated patch kit, but since you dont actually care either way(I say this because you have already pirated the game and you wouldnt pay for it even if an offline patch was available) To someone like you I say.
I have the 6200 T/C card and with some minor software adjustments you can run the game full detail(minus AA) with very little lag. The TC version can trick the pc into loading all its data into systym ram instead of its onboard memory. Effectively giving you 1/2 or 4 gig video memory. Depending on your system. (Minus O/S and any other crap loaded) The only lag I really get is @ 200+ ships and then it only lags till the data is loaded once.
never said I dug in. I said that I dumped everything I had into one more fleet when everything was lost for one more space battle with death the only acceptable outcome. Keeping a planet or a structure that is obvoiusly lost just gives your opponent more xp points. I at least gave him what he came online for and not a tail between the legs runaround
I played online for the first time and lost, but I pulled back planet for planet, built up everything my funds would allow. Dumped all remaining planets and had one last stand against the agressor. If you want me to quit I will fight till the last crewmember dies, rock in hand on his interstellar rubber duck [e digicons]x_x[/e]
I started a map that had a whole bunch of reasearch station already under player control when I started the game. The game progressed extreamly fast. That would decreace game time dramatically on most games played.
I would like to point out that the many people here who have not been able to get Impulse to work are also in the same boat as people who don't have an internet service. There are not "many" people who can't get Impulse to work. There are a couple people who can't get Impusle to work who post in every thread. Now, that said, we are working on an update to Impulse that will allow someone to archive their u
LOL.... [e digicons];P[/e] I'm nowhere close to any of those specs and sins runs fair on my system 6200T/C AMD3000+ 1(yes) 1Gig of ram. Thats with most settings on except AA. It has some slow moments, but ive seen worse on many other games.
Um.....I am a normal user with a problem. Ive read most of the posts I could get to(witch is difficult already) with no feasable answer yet. Is there a way to get the update without installing the game on some public/internet pc. I think I can get away with installing impulse, but not a full game. If so what are the steps I need to take or where can I read about it. If not is there any advice anyone can give me. P.S. This thread is for 1.1 issues and I posted a problem I have with 1.1 so I di
Well, I just bought my copy of sins what a fantastic game, but I have to agree with Shadow_of_Light though. If there were only 5 gamers complaining about issues spread across multiple posts then change that to 6 and counting. This is ridiculous. How come this supporting software is so bad. I bought this game because I believe in supporting decent games/software. I live in a 3rd word country with -3 points in internet connectivity. I downloaded the entire 1.1 update via a cellphone(6 long hou
