That rumor started with the video that was released, when in fact it was just a bug and it was displaying the logo for something else. There was a thread about this and it was quickly debunked by the devs.
there is a pic on the front page showing the new diplomacy window and when that pic was taken the cap ship factory was selected so there were 6 ships in the construction window instead of the usual 5... not sure w
but original SINS had stuff like the gunships
thats why we have innovators like you guys over at DS to jump in when IronClad drops the ball =) hopefully we can get Volt's Fleet Diversification mod combined with the DS mod to start rivalling 7DS! =)

eh, im not worried, if it was an easy fix then sweet otherwise ill just play it original recepie also, the new mines are crazy... i did sorta prefer mining a good section of my grav well (i prefer to protect territory rather than the planet) but then i jumped a fleet into a vasari asteroid without scouting it, and half the fleet went up in smoke, i was totally confused! but at least the mines are a force to be reckoned with now...

i figured it does apply... i mean it wouldnt make sense to have slow ships then little fighters who zip around like lightening... it would also affect anti-SC weaponry, if the ships are only in range of weapons for half a second...
Quoting TheRezonator, reply 1112 im sure its been asked before but is there a reason the mod is in like 4 parts? It's not in four parts. It's four different mods (one of which isn't even my creation but that I've been updating with patches so I have a workable version for the combo versions that are always requested), with a merged version (SGGalaxy) available for convenience since certai
Weapon drones of course. We felt the need to have individual figthers and bombers. Not a combined ship for both roles.
thats what i said...
Man if I knew how to do textures I would so willingly volunteer cause I cant wait for this mod to come out... sorry I cant be of more help but keep up the good work!
ditto!
It would be nice, but not practical, if games were more like mp3s. DRM free and available via physical or digital release,
YEAH, but why are Mp3's like that and not games? because game developers acutally put effort into making games, while most music modern music could be snap-frozen, sold at stores and put in the microwave ready-to-eat if you get my drift =P

its funny when i read this it feel like reading an actual battle report: New Advent Strategy: they are rushing us with scouts and both the Valiant TEC and Mighty Vasari are havign a hard time beating back this new Advent assault =P Next, they'll buff TEC or Vasari way too much and then the other two races will be hard pressed to survive... funny how it ebbs and flows..
Cross-universe stuff like that would quite possibly kill stargate forever. Why not throw the Vasari into the mix too? One, we were joking (but also half-serious!), two, a quick death for the series is probably better than a slow, lingering decline into crappiness, and three, throwing the Vasari into things sure wouldn't hurt.
actually, a race like the vasari (not the vasari themselves, but trying to edge out a new
How about the race that "is more powerful than anything anyone has seen yet", at least in the Stargate universe, be the Q? Yes, I know there are ascended ancients and all that spiel. However, the Q don't have qualms about interference and they aren't completely malevolent like the Ori either. John De Lancie was in a couple SG1 episodes, but meh, it would be nice to have some overlap into the awesomeness which is the Star Trek universe.<br /

you know Toyota released an ad on the net for the Toyota Yaris. A boyfriend takes his gf out on a date and he rocks up to the front door and says hi im going to take your daughters virginity for a ride and the father asks if the boyfriend has protection and the bf says oh yeah i have the new Yaris yada yada anyway, people jumped up and down saying its offensive etc, what a load of bullshit! people need to get over this goddamn taboo about sex, there is absolutely n
AS to how i speak on here.... it is my choice how i wish to include emotion in whatever i wish to type. I have modded before; it's been years but i defintely know first hand how much love and time goes into making a mod of one's favorite game at the time.
I never said anything about the care needed to create a mod and therefore you should respect them, i simply said that in general you will get further along if you are nice. trust me, im the first person to let
