i want to know why the creators (or whoever is appropriate) of stargate never created a gme fullstop... i think there is an MMO version that never took off, as well as some sort of FPS that got canned, but if they (had at the height of the SG franchise, i think its a little old now...) released a good, well done SG game, either FPS or RTS or 1 of each, they would have made alot of money... they worst thing would be to release a shitty, bad graphics, 2 month job just for the
In an ideal world the original purchaser would remove the game from their computer completely, leaving them free to sell the software and license to someone else. However, is anyone naive enough to think that would actually happen? More often than not, the original purchaser would still have the software installed when they sold the disk. The only practical solution is to have a non transferrable license, then whatever happens to the disk is irrelevant as the license remains with the o
Mines have always been a killer in warfare. There is no military vessel that has taken a mine and walked away fully functional. The idea that space vessels can encounter mines that actually function is space (harder than it sounds) and walk away without a problem is crazy. Given both the size of mines and the very purpose, those things would be seriously deadly.
i generally agree, though with the advent of energy shieldin

id have to learn some modding for that... and (eventually) i can do anything for myself, im asking if anyone else would like such a feature... also, im of the opinion that if enough people want a certain fix (like putting in an option to have starbases pinned automatically or not) then it should be the developers responsibility to implement it, and not rely on modders to do it...
oh... i dont know about that... i mean jake and the others left behind everything they knew... why would they just drop off the map? that sounds even more like a bad straight to dvd movie...I don't know....... it all depends on the quality of the writing, regardless of the exact manner the sequel takes...... I really have no experiance or skill in that area, so I guess I'll just hope they put somebody like Blomkamp or Lucas (not those peopl

yay, always loved forum battle... oh, and insofar as a sequel... id really love one... but a sequel just to determine how that one human without an Avatar survives on the planet? seems like a really bad straight-to-dvd disney movie... and those are already pretty bad... however, a sequel about something else that happens to mention how that human survives seems much more likely and enjoyable =D
actually was not paying attention in that scene (because I'm a little more.... prudish than the average 15-year-old), so I didn't notice the link taking place, and wondered about why they didn't do it.....
i saw it in the IMAX in Sydney, so i got a pretty good look... i dont know how it aired in America but in Oz the link during the sex scene got a few decent seconds of footage
They might not even consider the humans to be alive.....
i p

yeah, thats the only reason i can think of (besides silly lore considerations which are never taken into account if its inconvenient anyway) for giving the TEC turret less range... unless the devs wanted to force you to buy the upgrade... which sucks... and like i said, if the inital range nerf is to balance turrets later game, well, its a silly way to do it
Humans lose brain cells all the time and aren't adversely affected unless they lose A LOT, so I wonder how many "braintrees" could be deforested without harming the "Aiwah" sentience(s?)................ a few hundred? a few thousand? 1%? 10%? 50%?
it wasnt the braintrees only, it was everything on the planet... well... all the planets... so... depending on the effeciency of the 'system' and how much capacity it is using, im guessing 10% would cause an impact... maybe n
Really? That is completely silly if it's true
i think because the TEC turret gets those damage upgrades (i.e. extra weapons) later in the game, thats why its nerfed to begin with... i agree with needign to compensate for the extra firepower, though i think the nerfed range IN THE BEGINNING of the game is the wrong way to go about it...

im not sure what you're talking about? you mean the All Grouped movement setting? Im pretty sure there is no way to set it to default, but when you build a fleet, just remember to set it then... i cant think of too many examples where you would want to change that setting really, unless you are retreating, in which case you press the retreat button and it automatically overrides the group jump setting if you are talking about the visual formation when ships are lined up all pr

in relation to the post above about moving turrets, i suggested something like that during the entrenchment beta... naturally it got shot down... but on thing i think is absoultely necessary AND viable is to allow TEC/Advent SB's to rotate on the spot like turrets. this is for two reasons: 1. It will easily overcome the Z axis exploit because the SB just has to rotate up about 20 degrees (or less) and any ships come within firing range again, and 2. if a SB wer

So the title pretty much says it. Basically: put in your vote if you would like the ability to set auto join fleet to off by default so when ships come out of grav wells they dont join the WRONG fleet or a random group of ships. if you have any other small tweaks like this, feel free to post them and based on popularity ill add them to the main post so more people can see
