ok, i love this mod and as i tried to translate it in french, i had an issue. I found your string file and translate the part you added from english to french. Then, i took my french string from my game directory and copy paste my modifications at the end of my French.str file and then move this new file in the string folder of your CB mod. I strongly agree with the OP. One reason i don't play multiplayer, it is because i like to make my strategy depending of the situation. And going online is just about one question : how do i counter the egg and the marza (edit : well, it's a bit exagerated but still...). Personally i love mixing fleet and go to war : As Advent, make 10 LF with your mothership to colonize fastly three planets, then make 3 military labs and go for illum and carriers. Make enough carriers and illum to almost fill your fleet supply level 2, add an Halcyon and attack : you should be able to destroy the enemy cap and his fleet and take one of his early colonized planet with a few loss thanks to micro and shield restore [e digicons]:)[/e] . I am an advent player and i often spam carriers-illum. For me, the best advantage of the illum is that it can attack the ennemy capital ship in the same time they attack the light fregates using their side beams. Your adversary would have to make a critical choice soon in the battle : does he retreat his cap or not ? Ok, you can have the same result with assaillants or LRM focus fire (particulary assaillants thnaks to phase missile) but you won't take the LF in the same time.

another thing, IA advent often do something stupid : they fill most of their drone host with mines ! I have a question about fighters and bombers trail. Thank to bailknight, i changed the value of the width of the trail using entity files to make them more impressive but i still have an issue : the trails disappear even when fighters and bombers are moving, which is ruining the thing. Personally, i don't see any situation where i needed superweapons. I did build a few but it was when i didn't know how to play this game.Now, i know that you have to keep your enemy busy and just build defenses to slow down them until you bring reinforcements. My strategy evolved with entrenchment. Before, i was keeping one defense fleet but now, defenses have became so powerful that i can engage a medium fleet with turrets and hangars and a full fleet with a medium upgraded starbase and a few turrets.I only do it on a few chokepoints (2 generally) to avoid screwing my economy. Personally, i think that there is no need for devs to make a campaign (as they don't seem very enthousiastic to do so) but if they could give us a tool to create campaigns with script, victory conditions, a tool to make ingame video, etc... that would be great. Empire earth, Rise of Nations, Age of empires II, all these games had a campaign editor that was used to make the official campaign. there were great tools.
