I just had to login after years to say that I'm also looking forward to a Distant Stars for SoaSE2. The most enjoyable gameplay I had in the first game was with this mod. Thank you guys! [e digicons]

Awesome as always, thanks for working on the mod [e digicons]\o/[/e]
Hi. I'm interested in this as well. I was told that the new graphic option shows up as "no string found" with Distant Stars activated, thus assuming that the mod needs to be updated.
I think that mini-mod was called "dynamic movement"!
Glad to hear there'll be a new version soon! Ryat - will there be a new version of your awesome Powerful Pirates mini-mod? I keep telling all my friends who play Sins about the old version and how the pirates could destroy a whole AI-faction if you just paid them enough - but no one believes me [e digicons]:pig:[/e]
*waits for an update of Ryats great powerful pirates mini-mod* [e digicons]:smitten:[/e]
Quoting Liondrome, reply 8128Also how is the progress going in the next version? IDK, will thump Nacey another line but I may have to soon try and fix it myself. I know its not that hard but I have a very busy life as well.
Hooray! [e digicons]:pout:[/e]
Seems like most moddable games are actually better with community-made mods [e digicons]:bebi:[/e]
Any one else updating this page nearly daily, awaiting the next release? [e digicons]^_^[/e]

It's playing standard Sins music at the splash. See this post and download the efficiency pack. https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/335474/page/271/#3055017 It has fixes for the mod, includes the mini mods, as well as has the galaxy forge icons... And has the other more awesome music.
</p
Hi! I just experienced a bug with my Coronata Titan! I built it at my home-world - and instantly fought some pirates. After that I grouped it with two capital-ships and told them to jump to another planet - that's when suddenly my Coronata dissapeared from the gravity-well visually. It still showed it as if it was in the gravity-well (In the side-thingy) but I couldn't see it with my eyes any more. Double-clicking on it to zoom in took me
So far I like the corvettes since they heal my Corsev Battlecruiser up when they die, and they're cheap - and there's lots of them [e digicons]:D[/e] I agree with Teun-A-Roonius - hopefully there will be more changes to the, in the future!
Thanks for the string/Window mini-update! [e digicons]:meow:[/e]
Hai again. I have a friend that is trying to get his Distant Stars working and is apparently getting the wrong checksum all the time - which leads to minidumps once he tries to activate the mod. He's on Diplomacy 1.32 and is using DS (D) 0.99 B5. The checksum he is getting is 2269 compared to my 73603744. Any ideas? Edit: It seems his download was broken, or the extraction of the zip went w
If it's 3000 and a fully upgraded asteroid has 2500 - then I assume that 30% damage reduction of "Hardended Cities" will save it, just barely. Then again - I'm not sure if the damage reduction is only against Krotovs and the like - or if it also includes the cannon-damage? Advent doesn't have planetary shields, unless I missed them completely.
Does anyone know how much infastructure-damage TECs superduper-cannon does? Trying to figure out if researching "Hardening Cities" 6/6 is going to stop them from one-shotting my asteroids!
under the TEC tech tree, under Defense, the Tachyon upgrade, its description says "No String" I think someone forgot to put in the description of what it actually does. I can research it, and I think it actually works in game, just the description is not there.
It's the same for Advent - probably the same for Vasari!
Thanks for the explanation guys! Most appreciated!
I have a question - EWS Bombers - do they only disable the regeneration of hull and such, or do they also do actual bombing-damage? If yes, is there any reason to build the "original" bombers at all? Also if I understood this correctly, Gunships function like ordinary fighters, just with that terrify-ability or whatever it was called (forgot the name). Sincerely
As Minibeas1 mentions - having campaigns as downloadable content for a sum of money would be great. That way we get what we want, and you get what you want! :)
I just downloaded a new version after i deleted my old copy by mistake, but it doesnt contain the extras folder with dynamic movement and the galaxy forge stuff where can I get this stuff.
It will be included in 1.00 apparently!
Hai. I've had an idea for a while now. Not sure if this is anything you can or want to do - but the skill called "Shield Regeneration" that the Progenitor Mothership has is way too weak once you've upgraded most shield-upgrades. I was thinking that making it a %-value instead of the set value as it is now (unless I'm mistaken). I don't know what a reasonable value would be though. Maybe 5%? It just feels like when I'v
Quoting Cat Empire, reply 5922Was wondering if there'll be a powerful pirate and dynamic movement version for 0.99 - or if you're going to wait updating them until rebellion arrives. It should be in the Extras folder. The extras are updated when the new files are released, so when 1.00 comes out so will the pirates and the DM. Any modifications to them will be release as the patches are released.
</
