No, its not a joke post. I know its supposed to be a slow paced game, but for competitive MP, it needs to be faster than the "faster setting". I am not trying to say it needs to be as fast as SC2, but somewhere in the middle where you can reach end game stuff within 20 minutes and still spend money on ships for combat. I doubt anyone wants to play with a random person for hours or even save a game, not knowing when that other person will be availab
You see everyone wants something different and it wont all be done Desync is clearly a big issue as it will drive people away from online play .I dont play online because its too rush orientated Really since im involved in the beta they could delay final release for a year and not bother me -however given the choice i would push for final rebellion release now/today let the team take a rest for a day (dont want them to get too relaxed :) ) and then get them all hard at work on
you used to be able to adjust the game speed in online games in earlier versions of sins - really annoying that you cant do it anymore because when playing with a mate over LAN you want to be able to adjust the speed
ive played games where once you get into tripple digits gameplay (over 100 hours) it slows to a crawl but just watch moves and check the game once an hour or so . The one thing that i just do not understand and it oculd be this patching stuff but if a game is slow when there are 9 players left allive - cut to later in the game and there is now just 3 or 4 players - regardless of the fact we still occuppy the game amount of space the game does not speed up - id expect it
actually you get a set amount for a planet - i find it annoying that i have to scrap all the structures then strip the planet but you can just hit pause and do it quick enough so no biggie
ok yes thats what should have happened - or thats what used to happen but its not happening in my beta 3 by any chance where you advent and just researched the auto level up thing? :)
i moved my titan into a system with with a vasari rebel titan maxed out - i entered its weapon range it fires everything - i jumped behind it to the far side of the system when the green energy weapon hit empty space where i had jumped from my titan took damage - the missiles turned and still came after my titan but the waves still did damage even though they hit nothing
ok - im now 100% sure that any caps or titans in the system should be gaining xp even if they are not the ones destroying the units. Im still playing the same game - 2 huge AI fleets are fighting in 1 corner of the system and both keep reinforcing - my 14 caps have moved and are now attackiking the starbase - starbase is slowley dying but my ships have been in combat for a while now and no xp gained - this means that in team games online some players will avoid targeting starbases and
im getting confused - in entrenchment if i had a fleet in a system - with two other fleets battleing in the same system i gained xp - from watching the battle as such - this does not seem to the case anymore and its the first time ive noticed this - how long ago was this changed or is this a bug in rebellion? i can see why you would go with only the races in combat gain XP but my cap ships should be getting xp because they are helping - im playing vasari loyalist and i have 3 HK fleet
im the guy who wants xp from the destroyed planets structures :) the cooldown should be low - say 150 but antimatter cost should be 100% of the titans max antimatter
Im in ireland but pre-orderded rebellion whever it was announced - over year at this point? Hopefully ill get one - would it not make sence to open up special pre-orders for the collectors edition - then build them to order - that way stock wont be limited
i was too afriad of losing my first vasari game which i am still playing, i had to redesign my cap ship fleet since i now had 14 slots instead of 16 so i resigned it to have 3 of the new cap ship - i didnt want to build more encase it was not that good. i agree that it does look a bid odd - i didnt hear the voice because it auto joined my cap ship fleet. I must try and build 14 of this new cap all with support nantites active and the other abilities autocast turned off&nb
When you strip a planet to the core (an enemy world you have just taken) and you strip it to the core and all structures in the system are detroyed you dont get any xp? Also the maw does not give xp are both of these intentional ? thanks
I thought the dev's were too busy playing Diablo 3 to have time to make a new patch.
Whats diablo ? - i googled it but over 75 million results - can you just give me the gist of it please ?
I think its the people thats the problem - Damm humans we never know what you will do next ! Other AI's will do smart things like if you get a few cap ships ships or a titan behind their lines the AI now starts spamming them to deal with you. i went from being in a enemy system with no defences or ships in the system (it was next to the the enemies homeworld) then before i could even do anything usefull my titan chased out of there by 42 corvettes. i ive p
ok so doing some messing around - Can everyone agree we need the cooldown time on the deploy phase node reduced to around 250 or 300 The rebels should be able to deploy them in allied non Vasari space - so to put one of these in 10 enemy systems would take 12000 seconds - 200 mins - 3 Hours 33 mins just to help out an aly? with 10 systems what if your aly has say 50 systems - you will want one phase node in every 3rd system (to enhance trad
the other things, regarding microjumping anywhere (i understand this as teleporting between different gravitywells, its what you meant, right?). deploying jump inhibitors and generating culture - would be too much. In other words, not going to happen.
didnt mean between different gravity wells it should also be able to jump anywhere to any system on the map at any
Theres a glitch with the in system phase jump the in system jump does not let you jump out of a weapons way for example if you are micro pausing a battle (hitting pause every second) and a tec rebel titan fires its snipe at my titan and i have it paused just as the shot is leaving the tec rebel titan i jump but somehow my titan still gets damaged there also seems to be some pathing issues when you command the titan to attack a planet that has mines / structrues the titan has t

chances are something you or the AI is doing is causing a crash, if your ships or attacking have them pull pack for a little while, if you are not attacking or bring attached - launch an attack on the AI (all of them if you are bordering with more than 1 of them) - they will bring some ships to defend even if the have some defending already by interupting the flow of game play that lead to the crash you might bypss it other than that all i can say is beta - maybe
Do you want to slow it down to manage things easier or just to watch battles play out slower? For managements, you can just reduce resource rate, research, etc to prevent being overwhelmed and then just speed it up when you have a handle on things. For viewing stuff like combat slower, I don't think you can within the constraints of the game (unless some modder has a way to slow down animations and whatnot).&nb
