I have a I7 with a SSD and nothing in the game is as slow as that. For the first few times I always thought the computer froze and I force quit the game. Found out a few games back that it was just slow and now I wait, or eat or walk etc. {Gameplay} You shoul

The thing that has not been mentioned is that two allied loyalists can put 4 starbaees in choque points and 10 in a sun although it should be 16 starbases in a sun (double not just add 1)
shows you what i know theres nothing better than an AI advent aly because they will use Clairvoyance allot and scout the map for you also its a great way to keep up with enemy fleet movements and monitor their back systems for weekpoints
guys im not having this issue - i have a 42" plasa and a 24" samsung - i play on the 24" and watch movies / brose on the 42. now that you mention it i did on my first install beta have a glitch where any time i left cliked on the sins screen it would also pause the movie o the big screen but that only happened one and did not happen again
did you try to run the game when steam was in the middle of downloading/installing the latest update
Agree have a on off RTS from mid 90's like Red Alaert 1 had a slider that let you adjust the tech level Its a bit silly the way some RTS games dont give you a side range of options (sub com is a great example of you can can restricut individual weapons / tech)
But those rogues do full up your fleet cap just like returning armada - that leaves you with two choices - either scrap them slowly one by one or use them as your vanguard - which just adds xp yo your enemy so TAR is actually a bad thing and should not be used
eddited cause title was silly :) (er) i love sins - i dont like the fast paced rts games except on rare occasions i dont like how some games will just give you info from nowhere - is it that hard for them just to explain where you are getting the info from? (i mean gave devs in general nothing directed&nb
Quoting MayallCommunion, reply 1returning armada was not touched Returning Armada died a long time ago.
Do players not use returning armada in online play? I am very annoyed that i will only be able to attack 4 different "behind the lines" planets with my fleet when i play vasari but the advent and tec weapons dont do anything for me i find that if i

i once went through my starting routine - ie. i buolt a coloniser but then cancelled 1/2 though after i remembered i was going for this achievement quick start was off (cap ships only no titan) did not get the achievement
do you mean in flagship mode? They decided that titan - Queen and flagship = King Personally i think titan should be your flagship because then when it dies you lose the
i psoted this before - remove the grahpics - they look silly and cartoonish - should be about the battle not the flashy lights i think all special weapons effects should be visable onthe info cards if you move over a ship but not the way it is now as you said you cant see your fleet - other special weapons cause this problem as well not just the shield one
i have not encountered this in rebellion yet - only in diplomacy You have to stagger your attack to have any chance - ie move your scounts about 20 of them in and tell them to go to far side of pirate base - they follow. then jump your fleet / starbase builder jumps in - if your TEC have a system full of shipyears )and a upgrades starbase and start spamming the pirte system with units - I didnt win :( No self destruct timer <
The AI can not and never will be as clever as a human player at knowing when to use something so you should not in any version of sins have things on autocast except the thins you dont need to controll - the improved defence on the tec loyalist for example - that can stay on auto cast but the snipe on a tec rebel titan should be controlled. Same with all the caps (tell me you dont leave your sheild restore units on autocast?)
No flagships in the game anymore? In vanilla sins (could be wrong here) but your flagship was a capital ship that was also the "lead" unit in a fleet, in entrenchment and diplomacy in order to have a ship called flagship it had to be a higher rank then the other caps - for example you could not built a load of caps all at level zere, you would built 1 cap first - level it up then build the rest and because that single ship was your fleet lead all other caps joined the fleet the ship y
a 3rd party was torrenting - i turned it off before game but other persons lapper restarted at some point and the client opened up and been seeding (through my wireless) also i was hosting the game (direct connection) - my bad
it was a 10 player game - and what was playing out in my game is not what was playing out in another players in mine i had a titan and won a battle and in the other players game my titan was still in the shipyard under construction
Quoting Blueshocked, reply 6so why not just add a toggle when setting up the game, to limit/allow/disable them, then everyone is happy. I agree. As an example - such settings were IMO well implemented in Supreme Commander.
+ 1
i posted that idea before except 1000 xp is nothing - if you have 4 or 5 cap ships in the system where the titan is downed thats only 200 xp each - there needs to be a scare factor to losing a titan - late game all titans are tech 10 so you need losing one to still be a big deal - 10-15 thousand XP would stop late game titan spamming because you are brining your enemies cap ships up to level 10 and making them a bigger threat
ye they take ages - we play them as lan games - one time , only one we litterly fought to a standstill when there was just two of us left this map never takes long - because even with 1 way in you wont win if someone else controlls the whole map so you are forced into a massive early conflict for controll of the top systems - everyone has their fortified starting points that produce money but all the effort and combat takes place in the top cause you can
sorry if i posted this before The vasari enemy as a new species - they where hidden until now even though the vasari controlled a massive empire and had clearly not encountered this enemy before so im guessing it will be explained that they are super advanced - come from another galaxy or come from phase space/alternate dimension or some race from future traveling back in time to wipe out vasai threat - there will be some plot point to explain it - I would lo
i dont understand the problem an ai or human player using novalith is not a problem is it? it only costs 2k for a starbase builder and what 1200 or 1800 to research the enforced loyalty - done. just do it in every system in every game - you might as ell do it anyway because of rebel attacks - it solves both problems in your back systems and its cheaper than building hangers and turrets
when playing againt the AI while tec rebel all i got was my home world a, destert, an ice + a astroid and then a pirate base prevented expansion. i built the titan - 24 mins in then just left my space ran through the pirate base ignoring it and i played the whole game with just my titan harassing the different ai playes - i killed 1 of them. i sat behind my lines in 4 my systems teched up 100% on all research then i built my fleet many many many many hours unto a game where i only hada titan<
