What's wrong with Frogboy? He's not trashing Stardock! But yeah, Sins has been my best game purchase ever. I've spent hundreds of hours on it.

Very interesting, guys. Post this to the Diplomacy section, as the devs have promised to do some serious AI improvements in the expansion.

LOL. I like. And like it or not, he is right. Sure you may need flak to stop the fighters. But illums even beat their supposed counter, heavy cruisers.

Remember though, that 2x the resources in one player's hands is more powerful than 2 players each player having half. I like the idea of this, but it should be fair.

On a more serious note, Brad is a really cool CEO. Wish all CEO's were like him. [e digicons]B)[/e]

I'm glad to see its focus on singleplayer. After all, only 5% or something of SoaSE customers have even tried to go online. The target market IS singleplayer, and Diplomacy's focus should remain on that. Stardock and Ironclad have clearly discussed the numerous AI improvements that will be included in the final Diplomacy. I personally can't wait.

I fully agree with pacov's statements. Frogboy needs to be perma-banned. NOW.

I dumped the Entrenchment music, and popped in the original Sins menu music 2 months ago in Entrenchment. It's SO much better. I actually like it a lot.

Agree. Four screens now at the top, with diplomacy and relations similar topics as it is, could be combined.

It looks pretty good. Started a brief SP game before dinner; but I haven't had much chance to test it yet. New harder AI options! Sweet! Wonder what they actually do though. Will do further testing. Diplomacy techs look cool; can't wait to try them out.

Randomness means a more luck-based game, which means less strategy. SoaSE is all about strategy. Do not like. Only way I would want this is if it can be easily and completely turned off. Imagine the complaints in MP when an event occurs than benefits one player more than another.

Question on the "faster" speeds: why is damage done not an option to increase in speed? Ships may move faster, but as far as I know, they still kill ships as fast as before, on normal speeds. Just an observation.

Progen, Radiance, Rapture for me as well. Progen colonizes early on, and regens shields. Radiance has a bunch of killer abilities. Animosity forces ships to target it, and the Rapture's vengence throws the damage back, with the progen regenerating the shields of the Radiance. Malice and cleansing brilliance also work well, and antimatter bomb targets those caps. Resurrection restores your Radiace if it takes too much damage from animosity. And converting the enemy's ships with the Rapture is

All these solutions for MP are good and nice. But I'l probably never even touch them, because I'll probably never play multiplayer. SP is what I play, and LAN vs. AI's. I don't play online games. I even tried to register an ICO account last night for the first time (I've only had this game for a year), and pressed "accept", but nothing happened. So I'll continue to ask for some of the more obvious improvements to AI, and enjoy it when they're implemented. In case you didn't read Stardock's re

I've got the game. It's pretty good. But yeah, options for winning gold victory are limited. If you don't care though, then I wouldn't worry about it.
