There is also a way of getting a copy of the changes made per update (forgot how to do this) and then just directly putting that stuff into the unupdated versions.

Scouts are 2 supply each for TEC and Advent and 3 for Vasari (Vasari might be able to make up for it with the supply bonus though). This means that you will probably only be able to get 1000 scouts using normal fleet sizes. TEC Scouts are especially fun with Timed Explosives. Now I've got to try this [e digicons]:rofl:[/e] .

So they do work? Hooray! Well, if you had not put in those credits that that guy put into upgrading his Starbase, you should have the fleet advantage. You should be able to clear away his ships and ruiner and lay your own mines. If he does circumnavigate his Starbase around your mines, well, he is certainly spending a lot of effort on it. In the mean time, your ships should run faster than his Starbase. If he his chasing you with his ships, your mines will continue to irk his fleet too. This

I've been doing some experimenting with Rapid Manufacturing and I've noticed something that I think should be fixed. Rapid manufacturing says that it will improve the build rate of friendly structures and frigates in orbit. Well, it doesn't seem to affect how fast your Starbase builds nor do I believe will it affect how fast your frigates come out from a Starbase. Tested this out and it seems that building lrfs from the get-go will work. It is by no means an easy battle though. An interesting I saw was for the Vasari player to start building carriers with bombers--flak don't seem to work as well against them. I probably should have built fighters the minute I saw that happening.

Ok, so when you quit the game, it will tell you that you are in whatever the game name was channel. When you go to change the channel to lobby 1 (preset) it doesn't allow you to do that. You must click on another channel and then select lobby 1 again.

Another good way to analyze this would be to see what is the build order for a good Vasari Assailant rush. If we know that, we can figure what they sacrifice to be able to rush. It would also tell you approximately how long you have until they reach you. This way, measures you take to counter the rush won't bite you in the butt in the long run. I suppose the best way to go is to scout to see how far you can colonize before needing to build up a fleet and then wait for them to attack you. Use your carriers to kill of as many assailants as possible. You'll just have to micro your fighters to go around the flak and kill the lrfs. Absolutely do not lose any carriers. This will hopefully give you enough of an advantage to win from there. My problem with this is that, with TEC, you won't have colonized very fast and will be be behind in p

Any ideas on a good build order for TEC or Advent to counter the Assailant rush? It seems that every MP game I play, the Vasari players go for Assailant spam (I have had one occasion of Vasari Carrier-Bomber rush...but that didn't work out too well for them). Well, I think the point of the argument for those who do not want to nerf the Marza is that it's ability is exactly how a lvl 6 ability should be. Despite being very powerful, it is still quite interruptable and dodgeable. It is one of the few really good capital ship abilities and I would like to see it stay that way. Personally, I would like to see a buff to the Akkan if we nerf the Marza. The Akkan pales in comparison to the Mothership and Evacuator. The passive on the Akkan isn't really all that spectacular considering in most conditions, the accuracy is 100% and range only helps until your enemy closes in. Colonize just plain sucks compared to the other two capital ships.

Were you using the Mothership as your starting capital ship? If so...when you notice that your whole fleet is blinking red, you could use Shield Regen. That'll stop MB from killing anything. Plus it has a shorter cooldown and lower antimatter cost than MB. Heck, the advent are the hardest to pull off MB against. Heck, just having Guardians will help your fleet significantly. I might be wrong, but I think that shield regen doesn't have a target cap either. Shield regen is pretty powerful too.

Meh, I'm not an expert but...most people pick the Marza (good dps, planet bombing, and has Missile Barrage) for TEC starting off or the Kol(durability and strikecraft control). For the Vasari most people start with the colonizer because it good for colonizing and has Nano-Dissassembler which is for fighting 1 v 1 capital ships. As for Advent, people pick the colonizer (this one provides a great econ advantage early on and has shield regen) or the Radiance (for dps). That being said, p
