I was kind of hoping that they would add one higher tier of game speed. Oh, I also have a question about the +/- buttons in for single player. It is supposed to be able to speed up/slow down the game. How fast can you go doing that? I was guessing that if your game speed is already on fastest, that it won't go any faster.
I've always thought that having squadrons outside of the ship all the time was...well...rather unlike carriers. Having a time limit on the amount of time that squadrons can be out is a great idea. Even better is the notion that squadrons need to reload/refuel. Perhaps we could set a limit on the distance a squadron can travel or how many times they can fire before having to return to the carrier to reload/refuel. Not sure if this is supposed to happen, but when you are queuing (wow, 4 vowels in a row) up fighters/bombers and you cancel a fighter and choose bombers instead, you can still see the construction progress bar on the grayed out fighter icon.
So...structures in construction trigger hull repair and shield restoring abilities when they are autocasting. I hope they fix it when Entrenchment is released so that my Starbase stops using Resupply when I build a repair platform near it and my 3 Dunovs don't go out of their way (and away from the battle) to shield restore my constructing Starbase. Though I can see situations where shield restoring/hull repairing constructing structures can be handy, it would be better to not have them autoc
Docking your strikecraft manually can also let you phase jump faster since your carrier's won't jump unless your strikecraft are docked. It will only save you a few seconds, but maybe that could make a difference.
Hey, has anyone else noticed that the Argonev Starbase looks like it is firing for the first little bit after it is deployed and constructing if there is something for it to shoot at during that time? Sorry, I was too slow on the screenshot, but it has seemed to have happened to me more than once now.
I'm curious, can't starbases extend the longest trade route in the galaxy? Like put the Starbase at a star or an asteroid belt so that the trade route line (when you put your mouse over credits) is longer. It worked out for me. I will admit, it does feel a little underwhelming but your Starbase still has 5-4 other upgrades available after that.
Definately. I got an MD from deploying my Ralov in the Asteroid Belt. I loaded and tried it again and I got another MD. Took it out of the Asteroid Belt and deployed it at the Star and no MD problem.
I've also noticed that, sometimes, the trade port drones get stuck outside the tradeport. It happened when I was playing as Advent and I built a Starbase and added the tradeport to it. Also happened to my Advent regular trade port. Also is using Domination on an enemy frigate supposed to make that a one frigate fleet?
