Most people don't play multistar games in multiplayer, they just take too long.
A good multistar map for online is Dopplegangers. It's a 4 player 4 star map. Each player gets his own star with 5 planets and can colonize without being rushed immediately. It's pretty fun for 2v2 matchups or if you like playing coop against the AI. Another good multisar map for longer online games is Systems of War. It's a 4 player 5 star map with each player getting their ow
@ IskatuMesk I like all of your models especially the Zelconian Predator. Very Nice!

I do this a lot for the strategy and modding categories in Sose as well as the general Sose thread to filter out the off-topic threads.
It also looks like the lobbies are still split between diplomacy and Vanilla/Entrenchment. So you will need to log into ICO with Entrenchment to see those games.
I have been playing SINS for about 3 months. I do mostly SP. I am now starting to venture online. What I found amusing is that I went online and started a 2 player vs. 2 computer battle. I mistitled a game sumfink like "4 Player battle Noobs only." Many persons jumped in and wanted to play until they realized it was a human coop game. If i looked up the player stats most of them had played over 1,000 online g
Added a bump map to my low resolution cyborg frigate and a simple hull texture.
Not sure if I am working up to a robotic or cybernetic race here.
SP= uber-long multistar games. Oftentimes, SP is the only way you'll play mods. And I LOVE mods. MP= short&snappy high-speed low-drag games. You'll find the occasional comp stomp sure, but not often. Moreover, very few play mods on it.
I think the star trek mod will get a lot of online play when it releases!
When/Where did "WOOT" originate???
I've been working on the world for about 15 years. I'm 22 years old. The subject of my current work is a novel, Throne of Armageddon, that is currently around 1275 pages in length and will be around 2500 on completion. I've been working on it off and on for 8 years. I hope to have it finished and revised by the end of 2010. This is going to be a busy year. Luckily I have no other obligations. Thats very impressive for youn
Hey ZombiesRuz5, you working for a mod team right now?
Nope. I'm completely new to modding and 3d modeling. I do have a lot of experience with software development so the entity files haven't been too difficult to catch on too. I've opened up some of the sins models in 3d object viewer so it doesn't look like I am too far off in the process.
Thanks, hers a pic. of a model I have been making over the last couple of days for a mod that PUREVENOM and I are making;
Nice!
Really like that second one, it would make a devastating missile frigate.
Ya, I really like this model. I'm working on texturing this one and setting up the entity file for the ship.
You've got to love the star wars universe. I recently discovered Captain Harlock and attempted to create the green arcadia and blue arcadia (Fun!). Blue arcadia: http://i951.photobucket.com/albums/ad356/ZombiesRus5/blue_arcadia.png
Alt+Shift+Print Screen will take a picture of the current window. Then you can paste that into any paint program.
Here's a more recent ship model. * Based on artwork by Keith Thompson in 50 Fantasy Vehicles to Draw & Paint
So here is the second model I created after going through the tutorial posted by soviet911v2 that used to be hosted on sri-corp.com.
Think of this thread as something similar to conceptships.blogspot.com for the Sins community. Basically, a way for the community to share what they have created whether it makes it into a mod or not. At a minimum post a screen shot of your model in blender, xsi, 3d object converter, etc or in game. If you have a name for your ship or story behind it, even better. We are looking forward to seeing what you have
Beleive me, you have to have a backbone in this game to even last the first few days of sins online. You almost seem to state this like it's a badge of honor, like it's a good thing. You really think this is a good model for how to grow an online player community? This guide is an attempt to help newer players understand how to use/deal with star bases in entrenchment online games. Why is this needed when entrenchment has been out for almost a year now? I believe this is mainly due to the way the AI plays in Single Player Games. You are presented with Star bases ou

This is the command points listed toward the end of the entity file. It also includes the rate at which command points increase per level to add additional strike craft as the capital ship levels up.
I would agree. A simple key+mouse combination to turn the unit in a specific direction but not move.
