Good luck with your laptop. Your mod, and the Star Trek mod are the reasons I never upgraded sins. I've read the updater has issues with some of the computers, and not others, I'm sure it works with most of the people though. Laptop problems can be a real pain in the butt sometimes.
Vulturev4
I get that too. I up the difficulty, and it seems a bit more active than that.
It's good to hear you are on top of it. Since I only play mods with sins anymore anyway, I haven't upgraded, and won't until all the mods I play have been fixed. Thanks all for your efforts.

Would anyone be willing to post a replay with this mod... would be interesting to watch.
Is this mod mainly for use on larger maps? I played it on a small map last night, and by the time I found the AI's home world, they only had 3 military research stations, a cap factory, a frigate factory, and that was it. They still hadn't gotten around to building any ships.
I'm curious. I'm not the most advanced player here, but I do okay I suppose. I rely on scouts early on when playing on a map. I find it important to learn exactly where the enemy is, and which direction they are expanding, and what planets are available, resources. I build scouts and set them to explore automatically. In this mod, the release before the patch, scouts were dying one grav well away, maybe two if they were lucky.&nb
That did it. Thanks.
The patch is giving me minidumps on startup. Tried it twice, with a clean version of the mod too.
If the Constitution and the Predators are supposed to be the scouts, can they possibly get a boost in speed? I noticed they don't last very long, they get chased down easily, and once caught, they're gone.
I had this one problem. Playing federation, I jumped to a asteroid one jump away from my home with 10 Constitutions. I engaged the two vessels in the grav well by default, and after one was destroyed, my ships turned on the other ship a Kimal. They fought for about a minute, then the Kimal off in a straight line with my ships in pursuit, left the grav well, and made it half way between the asteroid and my homeworld before it blew up on its own.
i also got the crc errors on extraction
I did too. Something about the opening cinematics files being broken.
I would have to vote no on that one. These caps of yours, and the frigates have been so buffed up and everything changed around, I too think the other races wouldn't stand a chance. Back a few versions back, before you changed the ships in grav wells by default to BSG ones, the ships in the grav wells stood absolutely no chance against your ships. I say leave it colonials vs cylons. I think that is what most play the mod want anyway. &nbs
I got the patch last night... The Galactica is a sexy beast now. GJ
Those caps look beautiful...
Yeah, it works for me. I just had to move the mod over to the 1.03 folder, but that wasn't hard at all.
Yep, I think this was what I seen.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2a_bYLT85Y
I seen a video on youtube about SOA, at least I thought it was that. They had some good sound bytes for the colonial ships from the show... I really liked that, would be cool to work it in.
Hey, how much experience does a cap get for every strike craft it kills, either with flak, or its own fighters? Last night when I was going toe to toe with the G, with my worldstar and the Res ship, the G gained 2 levels from flaking my fighters... Any chance that amount of experience can be scaled back some? The G started as a level 5, was a level 7 when I limped my two ships out of there, simply from flak.
Guess what? I'm a little bored right now, so I'm going to post some more screenshots. This time it's a Galactica and Worldstar fighting (The Galactica wins )
Of course the G wins ;-) I played last night against the AI, and the computer put the AI, on a large map, pretty close to mine. I jumped his G with a Worldstar and a resurrection ship, and I
The Worldstar is still my favorite. Original design, and looks good with all the lights/windows on it. My compliments to the chef.
Has the high reflectivity been fixed? Looks from the pics, it has.
Bad idea: Listening to watermelons where other people can see you
I love them. Especially that second one down, the old raider, that one looks good.
Well, I am genuinely sorry to read this today. I can understand your frustration with your mod getting out of control, and I can also understand you wanting to start over. After I read your post the day before yesterday when you talked about not being very active with it anymore, that in a sense, it has gotten away from it, would have frustrated me too. I am a nobody around here, and I am old enough to know it. I am as big of a die hard trekkie you wil
