Thank you Blair! You guys do have a great track record of supporting the game after its launch, so I trust you will continue working out these issues. Now if we could do something with that awful ICO interface...

Ryat I like this game, I really do, and I want SD to succeed. I know my posts probably come across more snarky than I intend. But whether or not this is beta, the game is not stable. Stability should not be an issue a week before final release.
I expected a response early explaining why I am not helping enough to fix a game that I paid for. I am the customer. I do not get paid to develop this game. As the customer, if they do not develop a game that works I'll just take my money somewhere else next time they come out with a product. If they want to experience and record a minidump to see what's going on they can just start up their own game, get on ICO and try to play a game. If they mak
would be fantastic. SD you are killing your online community with this. I paid good money for this game and all its expansions. Please fix this.
Great post! Well written, valid points, and you even included suggestions for fixing several of the issues. I endorse this feedback!
Pb and Valk are you disagreeing with Night's assessment? The multiplayer system in this game IS depressingly unstable and not very well designed.
Volt I think you are way too focused on the idea of "saving" a planet from being stripped, which I'm not sure is a realistic situation. If you have just taken a planet close to the enemy with the purpose of stripping it your whole fleet will be there and any counter-offensive will be a massive undertaking. However, if we are just trying to limit the ability to have huge resources in 15 minutes, simply lengthening the strip time to 2 or 3 minutes prevents ninja stripping with
I've been able to duplicate the 15 minute planet eating method and I will say that until you have that ability you are completely defenseless. Usually I only ninja eat the planets with only 1 siege frigate because you can scuttle the planet more quickly than they can kill it. I guess sending some vettes in to kill the siege frigs is a way to go but in either case upping the strip timer to 2 or maybe 3 minutes max would drastically reduce the effectiveness of this strat. <
I guess that's probably the purpose the devs had in mind.. Create a homeworld that can run away, not fight. So basically it's a bigger Antorak.
So the other 5 factions get a titan and the VL get... to run away. Not sure I like how that plays out. I love the idea of going mobile, I think it's a very interesting dynamic and offers a very unique play experience. I'm just not sure that
Microjump should add an AoE that damages structures and capital ships as well, or add a damage component for those things to Maw. Desperation should become an active ability and include a debuff to enemy chance to hit. Shorten the cooldown on Phase Stabilizer, or do away with it and bring back fleet beacon as an active ability with a short cooldown. Maw should not negate xp that would have been gained from killing the frigs and it should target everything in the radius
So... they should change that then.
Well the phase stabilizer needs to be manually placeable so it doesnt instantly die if it pops in the wrong spot, and the titan definitely needs a debuff ability and/or AoE to make it more survivable. Being able to run away good is nice and all but I'm pretty sure this game involves fighting too.
Since there isnt any room for another upgrade in the ability card for the orkys, take colony pods out of the Vas Rebel tree. That tech doesnt really fit the rebels anyway IMO.
If you are going to go that way I'd say give mobile starbases to the loyalists, not the rebels. Its the loyalists that are trying to move on, the rebels want to stand and fight.
And reduce the cooldown, perhaps also add some sort of interference with enemy ships weapons systems due to the massive radio pulse sent out by the Titan.
Please take out the requirement in the research achievements to not have researched anything in the other trees. Isn't just researching everything in a tree enough? Why do I have to spend several hours of my life creating a contrived game scenario against an easy comp just to satisfy this? I'm not really an achievement chaser but hey, they are there.
What the title says.
One more thing on the Titan: Keep your resources give me XP for those frigates, this ship becomes incredibly difficult to level up at the higher levels, a special ability should not be counter productive to the progression of the titan.
First the bugs: 1) Occasionally a grav well with a phase stabilizer stops being a phase node for some time, then turns back on. Is there a reason behind this I'm not seeing? 2) Is there a resource requirement for Dark Combat Fleet and Dark Support Fleet? Quite often I will see "Not enough resources" and the ability will be unusable even though I have the fleet capacity. And when I can use it no resources are spent. Thoughts (M
