How do I uninstall and reinstall C++ redistributables?

Howdy Sins of a Solar Empire community. I would like some assistance please. I recently installed my new AMD Radeon 6850 and a new power supply to go along with it and as a negative result, two of my games refuse to operate correctly and one of them is Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion. Whenever I try to launch Rebellion, all I get is a black window that covers half of my screen. The program is running and everything but I can't do anything at all and as a result, all I can do is close it

Well, got somewhat of a point there except that the fact is it is more then possible to roleplay on Sins as a good amount of people have done it including me.
