Can you give us an example of where this folder is on your puter? Thanks:)

Any thoughts? (Bump so Yarlen can find it when he comes in in 30 minutes)
The more I think about it, the more I think that IS where the desync started. Why else a minidump? It can't record or play back two different versions of the same game!
In this bug on DoggySammy's character, you'll see that a fleet of corvettes are stuck in phase space. He tries to scuttle them after being stuck over five minutes, then they started moving again. http://www.sendspace.com/file/0fjcv3 Here is the save game file: http://www.sendspace.com/file/exy1nl
Okay, Yarlen. Here is the problem I'm having with current instructions: A) Finding the desync saves wasn't hard. I started the checksum logging, then loaded the autosave. CPU usage went up to 100% and game slowed to 10:1 (realtime seconds to ingame seconds). It would take an hour and a half to get one 15 minute autosave at that rate. B) We don't have Dev.exe with Steam installations. <p
Rebellion is only available through Steam. View the sticky thread in the Rebellion section of this forum on how to install it.
If they were that big, they'd BE the gravity well.
if they were that big, they'd own the gravity well.
True story: The space pony came up because of a joke between Yarlen and another Developer. The joke was so hilarious that it spread throughtout the business, and they added it to the game. They won't tell me what the joke was. (It's true, ask Yarlen)
Yes, we don't have dev.exe.
Corvettes have a really cheap counter.... other corvettes. If every unit could counter every other unit, this game would be no fun. Titans can counter corvettes. At least the Advent Rebel can, I know that fer sure. Fighters can counter corvettes, I took 918 corvettes against a fleet and lost every one to a stupid fighter pack (got his titan and all his capital ships though) of about 100. Kols, hangar defenses, fl
Just dropped in to see if this thread is still zombifying. Carry on.
^ This. Totally good point.
Yarlen, count me in to help with the desync issue. I will definitely make the time to assist you. This is something that I definitely don't want to see make it to final release. I'll PM you my phone number so that we can set up a time that's convenient. I have to make time because I have to go to a wifi place. I have Primecast and they are going bankrupt tomorrow, ending all foreseeable internet usage at home. I live in the country, so there
So I was playing this game and the weirdest thing was happening.... the AI was trying to win the game, and I was like wtf this is OP. A simple way to fix this would be... 1.) Make it so the AI doesn't make any more ships. It is too hard to defeat them and well it makes the game no fun. When I play I want to be sure I win. 2.) The AI doesn't build ANY structures. I mean come on this is ridiculous. <br /
I think that corvettes should have their engines removed, they move too fast. Oh, and every unit should be able to one shot them. Fighters should carry homing missiles that track where the corvettes were made and one shot that factory and whatever building is next to it, just to "teach em good". Flak frigates, after blowing up the fighter, should then turn their turrets on the screen of the player and bl
LOL Can we smash it? There is no more Ironclad, there is only Doomageddon!
No, hun, I've put in 151 hours in REBELLION. I didn't put this much time into all the other expansions combined.
Yarlen, I hate to disagree with a dev. However, I sent a 50k pirate raid at my son. The pirate's fleet strength took up the entire bar on the planetary enemy status bar. Yet I can still only send a "weak" fleet after that of less than 25 ships. And this was three hours into the game. Really, Yarlen? How long must the game go on before one can send a severe raid? Days?

But you make that quite difficult because your main defense against the "build bombers" solution is: "he would have built Halcyons with TKP."
I love you, Mayall. I really do. However, it would have been impossible for him to build Halcyons with TKP. <p
Ah, crack keeps you entertained and broke for much more than 151 hours.
Yes, it played very strangely. I built the static defenses because I was so far from my teammates and was getting gangbanged by two layers and pirates. Couldn't be in three places at once:). Managed to breakout once I got my Titan:)
