Plus, no need for colonization research.
And that's because I don't like that one.. And the small icon for it is just a meh, not very different from the undiscovered world one. That planet is like, hey man, take this best tier planet for free, good pop, extreme civ slots, lame militia, no colonization research
no no I mean vanilla + dlc, unmodded galaxies
3/4 of my text is about Sins Rebellion + Forbidden worlds DLC, I only wanted to put some lines about mods at the end.
I like the Ice planet with 4 crystal asteroids the most, always good to have it, and it feels good, I don't know if you can understand my last though though. And I like the Pirate Base as a planet (so completely clear of those pirate stuff like mines, turrets etc), because it always makes me remember that it was a moderate fight getting it (I always steamroll it with a late game fleet and a titan to maximize my efficiency), and it is funny to have it as a normal planet like a terran or so
Nice Table. So which is the best bonus?? Maybe Modern Society, or is it Pacifist Society? I get confused by the positive and negative bonuses. Or maybe, just plain old Plundered Booty, or the Expert Miners?
I think the one giving -30% ship cost on the gravity well, Efficient ship factories. This thing can save you tons of resources.
I've seen similar things many times, problem may be that the game does not think of surfaces like we do, so things in the game may "collide" without actual damage seen, I often see capital ship VS titan things, so the capital ship has a part inside the titans hull, or other smaller ships going through a bigger object like a ghost.
Playing online against a human (in this case a Klingon human) was very different from playing against an AI. The fleet that killed me was almost entirely composed of ships available at the beginning of the game.
It doesnt really seem to be much different from normal multiplayer (no mods), spamming of the earliest ship types.
I believe that this bonus is more valueable then any of the artifacts.
Planetary Organic AI and Matter Compressor? Those can easily give you tens of credits per sec... The Fortress World needs a bordering world to be useful, but every artifact gives useful bonuses to your whole empire (except the Interstellar Drive or something, that is still useless).
Best thing to get is the one giving -30% ship cost (efficient factories or something), every other one is absolutely lame compared to this, I don't understand why noone mentioned this.. It can save you so much money and resources if you dedicate that planet to ship building... You are able to pump carriers and heavy cruisers in no time for a good cost, and your titan will be cheaper as well if you build it there. Good ones are the Societies that are only giving posi
Well...it is pretty efficient imho. It costs about 4000 credits, but yields about 7 credits/second on a reasonably long chain and if the chain is extended, it will also boost trade income on all other starbases on the chain. That means, it takes about 600 seconds to pay itself back.
a trade port is more efficient, takes less time to be built and way cheaper. though I also build starbases to prolong my chain.
So you still want to improve their economy (force them to build starbases with trade upgrades) AND give them stronger ships? Not a good idea, though it may be interesting because in one thing you are absolutely right, when both AI and player reaches max fleet limit and research everything, there is no doifference anymore. I don't think forcing AI to build starbases everywhere would be a constructive thing, it's enough if they starbase important worlds, I h
Maybe I'm wrong, but what you think about the topic?
If they lost their levels when they are killed, the game would be game over for that player, doesnt matter if he had more planets and stronger economy, a level6 titan VS a level1 is not a fight anymore, its a slaughter. Making the game "who loses his titan first" would not be a good idea. OK I admit against AI it is annoying to fa
You order the planet population to be killed, with the planet itself. This is not caused by hostile activity, and the starbase ability only protects against hostile attacks. If it would save the planet that ability would be so often used it wouldn't be a big event, though in reality it surely would be to kill an entire world.
There will be a patch in the near future, Yarlen said it somewhere not long ago. And they are thinking of making another DLC if this one turns out to be successful (correct me if I'm wrong). Soase2 will not be started in the near future, they wre dealing with Sins of a Dark Age (it would be much better to deal with soase2, but they know what they are doing..), I don't like that genre at all.
Classical music absolutely *does* fit epic sci-fi. Disagree there.
Yes, the battles, but not the time between them when you are managing your empire, build, etc. I would personally prefer something more space related, like electronic music (as I am an electronic music fan), slow, electronic sounds. Endless Space has awesome background music, Sins has average if you ask me.

1. No. I like Phase missiles on them, looks awesome, wave would be strange. Solution would be to reduce their base damage drastically (as the shield negation techs will give huge increase to their effective power, this would not be unfair, and would fit Vasari concept of starting weak ending up strong). 2. Maybe, though I'd prefer someone's idea that the missile platform should be focused on the target, so it should have a duration matching that platform&#

I personally get bored after 2-3 hours so I never play a game bigger than 3v3 (singleplayer) on a medium map. Those ideas are interesting, but I don't really think this game could handle those events you want to put in, especially the AI.
