Ha! We don't even know if the Anima in the portrait is a male or female, it could go either way. However no, I haven't seen any new portraits in Rebellion.

EMP may interrupt abilities, but it definitely doesn't disable abilities like Detonate AM does. Edit - Nevermind, Goa got it.

1. The Loyalists I don't know a great deal about, but I do know they are supposedly incredibly powerful at culture warfare, they can automatically spread culture from their planets with no temples, and get even more buffs to their ships when they fight in their own culture. The Rebels are similar to an undead or necromancy type faction, they have tech that can cause any ships they lose to come back to life (10% chance), or gain a temporary clone of an enemy ship they just destroye

That's the risk of mines, if your opponent actually brings scouts to sweep the minefield, they should be rewarded. On the other hand, well placed mines (ie. on jump in points) can be devastating to an inbound fleet, and obviously provide no exp since they blew up of their own volition.

Titans retain their level when they die, but lose all experience towards the next level, so say your Titan dies at level 4 with 1998/2000 exp and you rebuild it, it will still be level 4, but will need to regain all that exp from 0/2000. As for only Capital AI, I've seen a few of those, but I've also seen more typical AI with frigate and cruiser support fleets. I'm really not sure where these Capital AIs have come from, but they're pretty laughable.
That tooltip is confusing, it's the Advent Loyalist Corvettes. What it actually does reduce chance to hit, I did a short 2v2 with a buddy of mine where I was Rebel and he was Loyalist, I moused over an enemy Titan his Corvettes were swarming and saw something

Well that's just bizarre. Detonate AM doesn't work and yet EMP does? Edit - Though I guess it's because Detonate AM also disables abilities. EMP Charge is going to be a massive problem for Advent Titans.

Mm, I was basically saying I was fine with them taking it back, simply because they were so borked. I'd be in favour of a few Advent players putting together an Advent 101 for the beta, a lot of people during that day seemed to kind of just... not get that Advent were a different race to the TEC and complained that they seemed weak based on things like raw health values on the Titans.

You have the right to complain, Timmy, but for the most part, no reason to. As pretty much a purely Advent focused player (on rare occasions, I play Vasari, never TEC,) I had a lot of fun playing around with the Advent Rebels two days ago, but as GoaFan said earlier, there were a lot of problems, like half of the technology wasn't just "not working properly", it just wasn't working at all . So I just consider that one day as a fun preview of my f

We also had a lot of people complaining that they wouldn't buy the game back then "because it wasn't on Steam". One of my friends actually didn't want to buy the game because it wasn't on Steam, even, once Trin
Of course they are, they have no males
Yeah they do, they're just in the kitchen. Advent have a caste system based on psionics. Better psionics = better position in society. Advent females tend to be stronger psionically and so it's rare for an Advent male to have a powerful position like ship captain for instance.

They also never claimed it was a sequel, ever, there were always supposed to be 3 expans

The blue phase jumping fits with the Advent, tbh, and they also used it at the end of the new into. It's been updated a bit as well.
