All I can say is my theory seems to be correct (for a part at least). Vasari rebels and TEC join forces. What worries me is their cause. In various sources I've read so the vasari can take the tec with them on their escape. (which is also suggested by the end of the cinematic). But I'd prefer the idea (and I recall a dev saying this in an interview) it is to join forces and face the enemy head on. It makes sense, the TEC stood no c

Kiiiiind of disagree with Chaotic Burst, it's spammability makes it downright scary when mixed with Malice, throw in a Fracture/Scream spamming Discord for good measure and hey! It's a jubilee celebration, and your enemy's support frigates/cruisers are providing the fireworks!
I'm most looking forward to destroying every planet I find with the vasari loyalists though. No, i'm not evil at all! Just misunderstood.. But... Where will the Space Ponies live...?
Don't worry, I'm sure the Space Stallions will protect their pony bretheren from the nasty Vasari.

I'm ah... gonna go ahead and throw in the Eradica's shields as a visual bug. They don't quite seem to be doing their job.
Also, somehow they were showing up with entire fleets of Pirate ships (big fleets) under their control/colors at one point. Taking out the Pirate planet did not help. I guess this was a tech they had researched or pact/diplomacy related purchase. Anyway, it was damn substantial when they hit like that supported with a Titan.
TEC Rebels? Pirate Mercenaries, the pirates constantly se

Advent Rebel Corvettes work wonders on Starbases as well funnily enough. Since almost all of the weapons on all 3 Starbases are energy weapons, their debuff drastically reduces incoming damage, combine it with Guardians and a Progenitor and survivability skyrockets. (This works on Kols as well, their frontal beam is neutered against an AR Corvette swarm.) Edit - Oh yes and with regards to Adjudicators, don't try and snipe with them, drive them into the middle
Shouldn't it be like a king on a chess board though? It is the most expensive piece on the board. The most valuable the one that hurts the most to lose i.e. a king.
No, the King is not the most valuable piece, nor the one that hurts the most to lose, the King is barely a piece at all, it's an objective, it has no practical tactical use (except for that nifty trick of swapping him with his Rook to reposition that Rook freely

Do you have allied ships near the Titan? If I'm not mistaken the Unity Mass Beam does damage directly proportional to the size of it's supporting fleet.

M'kay, wasn't sure about the Loyalists, haven't played them yet. It was just a bit jarring to see the Rebel ship resurrection tech in the civilian tree. Edit - Speaking of which, I don't know if I have bad luck or not, but I have yet to see either the own ship resurrection or the enemy ship resurrection abilities trigger yet.

Advent are all about fleet synergy anwyay, why would you expect their Titans to be solo wrecking balls? It's completely against their playstyle philosophy. (I also completely love the Rebel Titan by the way, it works so hilariously well with a Progenitor and Discord backing it up.)

Just going to point out that the TEC didn't really suffer from their "greed", aside from being initially unprepared for the Vasari, even then, their "greed" gave them the power to grind a giant war machine into gear, and thus they get the best economy in the game. What really screwed them over was kicking the Advent out centuries earlier, which would ironically mean that their "sin" would be Wrath. I do think people take the word "sins" too literally on this, I'v

The Vasari Rebel agenda is to get the races to cooperate and make a stand against their pursuers, to the extent where their tech is described as hybrid tech (their Titan has Advent antimatter generators for example.) That's why they were displayed in the intro as flying with a combined Vasari/TEC/Advent fleet. If anything, they'll rope the TEC Loyalists and Advent Rebels into an alliance, the others are too extreme in their ways. As for Ice, it's plo

New intro is awesome, and Advent Corvette voice has been changed and is infinitely superior. Stardock confirmed for gods. Slight addendum to the voice thing, just noticed they're shouting "purify the corruption!" on attack, so perhaps this means the Loyalist Corvettes have a different voice than the one I'm hearing, dare I even suspect the old one.
I dare say it's because it's not about frantically clicking units, abilities
Which is odd because I play Advent and I end up clicking all over the place and spamming hotkeys for abilities so much when I'm in combat that I completely forget I have an empire to run. I really need to work on that.
