i take back all i said, even the AI can only be TEC rebel or loyal. What a waste of time. im all up for involving the player base in testing and what not but this is a joke. This isnt a Beta its 1/3 of an unfinished game. Check-list balance - cant be done in this kind of half finished game stability - ran fine on my pc bugs - none i encounter in 3 games pe

Right that's it, I'm getting rid of this dot in my name, I'm positive it's causing all these attempts at quoting me to fail*. And I agree, which is why I brought up a final beta, but if that post up there by Yarlen is to be believed, then perhaps I was wrong about them disabling TEC *Edit - Or not, apparently we can no longer have spaces in our name, and MrHaze is taken, how troublesome.

Right you are, Timmy, which is why I then direct us to this:
Welcome to BETA 1 of Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion! This first round of testing contains the TEC Loyalist and TEC Rebel factions in their entirety, plus a number of graphics, balance and other additions. ---- In BETA 1, we're looking for feedback on the following: TEC Loyalist / Rebel balance Overall performance Graphics issues (slowness, things be

Not all of these were intended as artefacts, spacepilot. The planet specific ones were meant as planetary bonuses, like Heavy Falloff, which reduces population growth on a planet by 20%, and causes the player who just colonized the planet to seeth with anger for 5~10 minutes, depending on how high you have the anger management tree researched.
one thing they are not doing is rushing, i agree with the OP, every Beta i have ever played has been the full game, and it is released to look at the impact of the game on different pc specs as well as to sort out balance and bugs. Saying its a beta but not letting you play a fully feature complete game, albeit with lots of bugs and other issues (which is the whole point of a beta to sort these out), is misleading as
Oh drat, well it was fun to speculate though will not lie about that. Thanks for the explanation though crisaron. Oh and just to be a bit more categorically biblical to the "sins" of each empire. The TEC would most like be Greed/Gluttony (yes i know its a cheap shot here, but hey it works ) The Advent would most likely be Wrath (for the whole vengence thing all the time) <b
About 100 bees can sting kill a person. Plus 100 bombers requires a big fleet. Fifty light carriers at 14 supply points. Seven hundred supply points total. About a third of a fully researched fleet.
Well, if they were TEC Bombers it's not just 100 bees, it's 500 bees with rocket launchers designed to punch through very heavy armour.

To be honest, Halos, my theory right now is that whatever is chasing the Vasari is the "unseen enemy*" that is "corrupting the unity" that the Advent Rebels are trying to snuff out. If Sins 2 goes into more story development I'm fairly set in my presumptions that TEC Loyalists, Advent Rebels and Vasari Rebels would end up being a power bloc with Unseen Enemy and Advent Loyalists being the other power bloc, Tec Rebels are an annoyance and the Vasari Loyalists legged it. &nb
Quoting Cheesenium, reply 23Then, how would you counter it if you are Vasari or Advent? Both races dont have planetary shields and axillary government. Vasari and Advent do have auxiliary government. They just use a different name.
Enforced Loyalty and Enduring Devotion, respectively.

Well I'm obviously not from Stardock, but I believe the reason the old threads about the other race's Titans were deleted was due to the inclusion of their stats and abilities, not only have they stated that none of that was finalized, and posting it everywhere could cause FUD, they also want people focusing on TEC right now. If they're just pretty pictures of the pretty ships, I doubt they'll mind, after all we can already get glimpses of them on the main menu. <

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't 23 euros be enough if he was getting the discount from already owning Trinity/Diplomacy? Judging from his join date, I'd presume that he does, but I could be wrong.

No, it's not working as intended, usually the ship won't begin construction until the crew is ready. OP is saying that as soon as he queues the research, he can not only queue the capital ship for construction, but it starts building, despite no capital ship crew actually being available.
Pirates now seem to take multiple prong attacks on separate planets which sometimes gets them chewed up in detail. My biggest complaint is that they will forgo my fortifications to take out that one resource transport that just warped in. Need to stop this. Also the pirates seem to latch onto one planet instead of going after the weakest link. Also pirate behavior needs to change to no attack
