I'm actually playing very differently as Rebels than I did as Vanilla Advent, though that's in no small part thanks to the additions of their Corvettes and the immensely sexy Discord. I also look forward to seeing Resurrection and Reanimation in action, still not sure if they're bugged or not.
Mr. Haze
Explain to me how rejoining an RTS match after crashing is feasible. If it were so easy, every RTS would do it. Off the top of my head, I can think of none that currently do.
That ability also requires a level 6 Titan, and really, if they have a level 6 Titan over their homeworld, they probably lost long before that. Also it's the Loyalist Titan, not the Rebel one.
It says June 12th on the game's page on Steam.
"Save games, screenshots, settings and other Sins files have been relocated to: My Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion." As per the patch notes.
Well to be honest I don't mind the voice that much, a couple of the lines are grating, but other than that it's a nice change from the other Advent Capitals (who all have the same voice.) It's just fun to make jokes about. I also find the idea of a Female Vasari Advent captain to be incredibly hilarious when I try to imagine it. Higher pitched Vasari reverb voice with the Advent echo.
Entrenchment had no speech in it.
I already transcribed all 3 Sins intros in another thread, actually. https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/421149
It could be nice, but there's that ever-present 2GB limit looming over the game, how would different skins effect that?

Cloud saving, integrated friends lists, etc. Originally I believe they were going to use Impulse Reactor, but that fell through.
...Uh. Log into Steam, set it to save your login details, then you can use offline mode with impunity. Also why exactly do you think you have a leg to stand on complaining that you can't play games at work?
You know it actually kind of feels like a Vasari ship with it's armour debuffing and weapon jamming and in general how it's entire job is screwing with the enemy fleet. For that purpose I propose that the voice be changed to a female Vasari Advent. It can't be any worse than the current voice.
i like the game but i just have a minor complaint. the game doesn't allow you to play by yourself and by that i mean only one player. while i do commonly play with my friends i occasionally play by myself after not playing the game for a while because either another game is caught my interest or something else, and it is only for a hour but i kinda liked it as a way to refresh my self in the game.
Well you could play vs. a

If you want minidumps fixed, the best thing to do is send in the minidump files.

Dude isn't the advent capital fleet really good now? I mean the discordia just gave them everything they needed. Well...not everything. but its really good fleet support.
I'm in love with the Discord. It's my new favourite Advent Capital.
Called it!
Just a tic, and I shall do it for you right now, all of the voice overs in the intros are done by a TEC Commander. Sins of a Solar Empire: "We don't know who they are, we don't where they came from, but we do know they are desperate, and they've been on the run for a long, long time. They arrived in Trader space almost 10 years ago, on the day my son was born. At first, we didn't stand a chance, a millenium of peace and prosperity makes you soft, but th
It's a joke from the original Sins beta, it actually has nothing to do with the new Ponies.
If there's no chance of this, I'd be happy to transcribe the openings for you, if you'd like.
Ah ha, I see. That explains a lot. The part where he threw in "we're still related to the TEC" or whatever threw me off.
There's usually a setting where you can set how many players can win together, up to 9. If it's set to "No Allied Victory" then you can't win with any allies you've made.
Comparing Advent... ANY Advent to Martin Luther King is completely wrong, they're not fighting for equality, the Advent society is a caste system based on psionic strength, it's inherently unequal.
